A week has passed since Mumm-Ra's attack at Lion-O's memorial service. Tygarius and Snarf, as well as the other three casualties, were laid to rest. The crowd was awash with tears. "I never really got to know Dad." Wylikat said. Ailura looked to her twin children and comforted them. "I loved that man." Ailura said. "I'll miss him."

In another part of the crowd, Snarfer was balling his eyes out on a handkerchief. "Uncle Snarf, why did you have to leave me? My family is gone!" Snarfer cried out. Hystalin walked to Snarfer and said to the little snarf, "It's okay Snarfer. I'm sure Snarf is very proud of his nephew." Snarfer felt better, but he still mourned for his late uncle.

From the far end of the crowd, Sphynxorius, Tigerlily & Kyttihawk were shrouded in black robes, mourning for their late friend. "Tygarius, my love, rest in peace." Tigerlily said quietly as she wiped her tears away with her handkerchief. Sphynxorius put up a brave front, and Kyttihawk was also crying her heart out. "He was such a great friend. I shall miss him." Kyttihawk said.

After the funeral service, Tigerlily was to herself. "Mumm-ra, that evil abomination, he shall pay dearly for taking way the man I truly loved!" Tigerlily said with a hint of anger in her voice. "I shall see to it that he will pay for slaying Tygarius! Mumm-Ra, you will see me again!"

Days later, Hypnos and Orintha was looking through her late fathers' belongings. "All of his belongings... it even still smells like him." Hypnos said. "I can't believe he truly is gone." Orintha said. Nocti walked in to see what is amiss in the room. "What are you two doing in Father's room?" Nocti asked. "We were just looking through Father's belongings." Hypnos said. "Well, I was just curious." Nocti replied.

Just then, The Sword of Omens, which is by Nocti's side, started to glow and roar. "Nocti, what's going on?" Orintha said. "I don't know. It's acting as if it's possessed." Nocti said hesitantly.

"The Sword of Omens senses danger."

Just then, Lion-O's spirit came to his three daughters. "Father!" Nocti, Hypnos & Orintha collectively said. "It's me, your father. Orintha, Hypnos, know that I shall always be with you." Lion-O said to Orintha & Hypnos. Then, Lion-O turned to Nocti. "Nocti, when the sword grows and glows, it senses danger among our allies. Align your eyes to the sword's hilt and it shall grant you sight beyond sight." Nocti was unsure about this? "Sight beyond sight?" Nocti said. "Yes... Sight... beyond... sight." Lion-O replied as he vanishes.

Nocti was unsure about this, but she figured that her father had a good reason. Nocti held the Sword of Omens to her eyes, and she was granted sight beyond sight. "What's this I see?" Nocti said. Though the Sword of Omens, Nocti sees Tigerlily running through a desert with tears in her eyes. "What's Tigerlily doing?" Nocti thought to herself. Then, through the sword, she could faintly hear Tigerlily talking. "Mumm-Ra, I shall have your head for murdering my true love!" Tigerlily said.

Hypnos was confused about her oldest sister. "What's going on sis?" Hypnos said to her sister. "I saw Tigerlily running to Mumm-Ra's pyramid. She's planning a suicide mission to kill Mumm-Ra herself!" "What?" Orintha shouted. "She'll kill herself!" "I don't think she has that on her mind." Nocti replied. "We better go find her and save Tigerlily from herself before she reaches Mumm-ra's pyramid!"

Tigerlily, armed with nothing but a mountain of pain and anguish, blindly trekked through New Thundera to Mumm-Ra's Pyramid. After about 20 minutes of running, she reaches the pyramid. "Ahh... I found it!" Tigerlily says as she catches her breath. "Mumm-ra, I shall make you pay for stealing my love away from me!"

Moments later, Tigerlily could hear the roaring of the ThunderTank in the distance. "What are the ThunderCats doing here? Did Mumm-ra do something to them recently?" The ThunderTank stopped a few yards away from where Tigerlily stood. The hatch opened, and Nocti stepped out of the ThunderTank. "Tigerlily, stop this madness. What you are doing is suicide!" Nocti shouted. "You stay out of my business!" Tigerlily shouted. "This fight is none of your concern!" Wylikit & Wylikat stepped out as well. "Tigerlily, Tygarius was our father, a father we never knew." Wylikat said to Tigerlily. "We hate Mumm-Ra as much as you do, but fighting for revenge is not the way." Wylikit replied. "Please, do you think Tygarius, our father, wants you to be like the way you are now?"

"Tygarius?" Tigerlily whispered. "My true love... the man I loved more than life itself. I... I..." Tigerlily kneeled down with tears in her eyes. "I don't know what to think!" Tigerlily shouted. Nocti walked to Tigerlily said to her, "Let's go back home."

Unfortunately, Mumm-Ra appeared as the scene progressed. "Well, well... it looks like I have some visitors!" Mumm-Ra taunted. "Looks more like pests to me... pests that deserve to be exterminated!" Mumm-Ra attacked the group with his dark magic. As Mumm-ra continued his assault, he looks down to see Nocti, armed with the Sword of Omens and at Super-Saiyin Level 2 status. "Nocti," Mumm-Ra bellowed, "it is a shame that your father is dead. I wish I had the luxury to bring him back to life so I could kill that bastard again! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!"

Mumm-Ra's comment made Nocti very angry. "You dare talk about my late father like that?!?!?!" Nocti shouted. "You will pay for your sharp tongue! HOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" Nocti fired a lightning blast with the Sword of Omens at Mumm-ra, but it was ineffective. "What is going on?" Nocti said to herself. "It seems that Mumm-Ra is growing stronger with every battle!"

Mumm-ra held his left hand in the air and prepared the "Satan's Hellfire" spell for Nocti. "And now, Nocti," Mumm-Ra shouted, "join your father in the next world!" Mumm-Ra fired his "Satan's Hellfire" spell at Nocti. Nocti braced herself for the attack; however, Tigerlily jumped in the air and took the full force of the devastating magic spell! "TIGERLILY!!!!" Nocti shouted.

Tigerlily fell to the ground, mortally wounded. Nocti ran to Tigerlily's side to see if she is alive. Tigerlily looked to Nocti and said, "I'm sorry. When I go to heaven, I shall find your father and tell him how much he loves you." Tigerlily said weakly. "Tygarius, my love, we shall be together again." Tigerlily closed her eyes and passed away. Nocti looked to Tigerlily's dead body and said, "Tigerlily, I'm sorry. Farewell, friend."

Nocti looked to Mumm-Ra with nothing but anger and rage. She raised her ands and produced a ball of light... an artificial moon. "Tigerlily, this is for you!" Nocti shouted as she cast the ball of light in the air. As the ball rises to the skies, Nocti looks at it and slowly transforms into her giant cat/monkey hybrid status. "It looks like there are mutants in the ThunderCats' family tree." Mumm-Ra taunted. In about 3 minutes, Nocti was in her mutant status.

"Mumm-Ra, get your death bed ready!" Nocti shouted in a muffled, husky voice. Mumm-Ra fired several random bolts of dark magic at Nocti, but the attacks were useless. Nocti tried to punch Mumm-ra, but he flew out of the way. Then, Nocti swat her tail to Mumm-ra and knocked him to the ground. Nocti looked to Mumm-ra and tried to step on the ever-living source of evil. Mumm-ra caught Nocti's foot and threw the mutant aside. Nocti opened her mouth and emitted a powerful energy blast that struck Mumm-ra a direct hit. Mumm-Ra then retreated to the safety of his pyramid. "That battle is over." Nocti said. With the sword, although it seems useless, Nocti cuts off her tail with is and turns back to normal.

Later that day, Nocti was in the sword chamber, putting away her father's blade. Wylikit & Wylikat were overseeing Nocti. "I failed. I should have rushed there sooner." Nocti said. Nocti was surprised to her Wylikat & Wylikit speaking out. "You did well as a leader." Wylikit said. "You cannot save people from themselves." Wylikat said as well. Nocti turned to her cousins and said to them, "Perhaps you're right, and thank you for your input. It's nice to see that I am doing a good job in following in my fathers' footsteps." Nocti looked to the window and said, "Father, how am I doing?"
