The Funeral, The Arrival & The Takeover

At New Angelus, Krysa & Electra awaits the arrive of the Thunderian/Angeleese Family to arrive.

Krysa: "Electra, when will they get here?"
Electra: "I don't know. I radioed the New Cat's Lair and Ben Gali said to me that they all left. They'll be here any minute."
Krysa: "I can't help it. I never felt like this since Sindara was murdered, now another one of the Dewarrloc Sisters is dead. Do you think that he could be..."
Krysa: "Can't be. He's dead. Lion-O killed him himself."
Electra: "How did you know?"
Krysa: "He told me himself at Lynx-O's funeral."
Electra: "Well, it might as well... perhaps it was for the best."
Krysa: "Look! I think I see them!"
Electra: "Yes... I think so... They've arrived!"

Lion-O, Hystalin, Ailura, Wylikit & Wylikat arrived at New Angelus within a day's time.

Krysa: "Welcome home Hystalin."
Hystalin: "Oh Krysa.."
Ailura: "We came as fast as we could..."

Hystalin & Ailura ran towards Krysa with open arms and tears in their eyes. Lion-O, holding baby Nocti in his arms walked over to Krysa.

Lion-O: "I'm sorry Krysa."
Krysa: "It's ok."
Wylikat: "What happens now?"
Krysa: "All of you can spend the night in Dewarrloc Castle. Come with us."
Wylikit: "I never knew Aunt Sistina well..."

Krysa, Electra, Ailura & Hystalin led Lion-O, Wylikit & Wylikat to Dewarrloc Castle.

Meanwhile, deep in outer space...

Butz: Damn! We've out traveling for hours!"
Queen Leena: "Have faith in Bahamut. He knows what he's doing."
Bahamut: "Thank you for your faith Queen Leena. We'll be in New Thundera in approximately 90 R-minutes (24 hours New Thundera Time).
Cara: "I really need to go the the bathroom."
Faris: "Too late for that Cara. Didn't you go the bathroom when we were in Tycoon Castle?"
Cara: "I couldn't find it. That place is a labyrinth!"
Faris: "Well, hold it in!"

Meanwhile, back on New Thundera, Ben Gali was in his room, brushing his hair. He is proud that he looks somewhat better now that he let his grow down to the middle of his back. While he was combing his hair, the alarm went off wildly.

Ben Gali: "What the hell?"
Cheetara: "Ben Gali, come to the control room! You're not going to believe this!"

All of the remaining ThunderCats went to the control room. Panthro turned on one of the monitors to show to everyone's disbelief, Slythe striking the New Cat's Lair with an array of fire and lightning spells.

Ben Gali: "This is unbelievable!"
Cheetara: "I wouldn't have believed it until I saw it."
Panthro: "The Mutants using Magic? Either my system is screwed up, or we're up to out armpits in cat shit!"
Cheetara: "Look at this!"

Cheetara pointed to what looks like Vultureman flying in the air bombarding the lair with a meteor shower that made the alarm system go wild and some really bad structural damage. Ben Gali, Cheetara, & Panthro got out in their vehicles (Cheetara got the ThunderClaw, Ben Gali got the HoverCat, & Panthro got the ThunderTank) and went out to face the Mutants.

Panthro: "I'll get Slythe, you two get Vultureman."
Cheetara: "Gotcha!"
Ben Gali: "Will do!"

Panthro went after Slythe. Before Panthro could react, Slythe used the "Ice2" on Panthro and froze the ThunderTank solid. Panthro jumped out and broke out his nunchukus. Slythe used the "Demi" spell on Panthro. Panthro got weakened by the spell tremendously. Panthro was barely able to use his nunchukus to throw fire on Slythe, but Slythe was ready for it because earlier, Slythe put "Shell" on himself. Then, Slythe used "Lightning2" on Panthro. Panthro fell to the ground, unconscious. While Cheetara was in the air, he noticed that Panthro is down. She yelled to Ben Gali to go after Vultureman alone, and that she was going to go after Slythe.

While Cheetara was going after Slythe, Ben Gali went after Vultureman, who was still in the air. Ben Gali shot a laser at Vultureman, but the blast was bounced back as Vultureman quickly defended himself with a "Magic Wall" The hit went back to Ben Gali and barely missed. Vultureman quickly summoned another esper, Ramuh, to strike down Ben Gali. The HoverCat was quickly losing altitude, fortunately, Ben Gali bailed out before Hovercat hit the ground and exploded upon impact. Before he could re-act, Jackalman, who was behind him cast "Frog" on him and turned Ben Gali into a frog. Monkian put the frog in a jar with holes in the lid.

Cheetara went after Slythe with the HoverCat. She shot her cannons and about to strike until Vultureman, who was still in the air used the "Stone" spell to turn the ThunderClaw to stone. Cheetara was completely dumbstruck as she quickly loses altitude. Cheetara, being the psychic that she is, created a psychic blast that hit Vultureman, effectively wearing out the "Float" spell that Vultureman put on himself. Vultureman was able to land safely. Before Cheetara could react, Slythe who was behind her used a "Stone" spell and easily turned Cheetara into a stone statue. The Mutants won the battle with their new gifts of magic.

Meanwhile, back on New Angelus... the funeral commences. Sistina is laid in a stretcher atop a platform. Hystalin, being the oldest, sprinkles the body with holy water and says a little chant. Then, the body is slowly lowered 10 feet into the ground. Then two handymen poured flammable oil in the hole. Hystalin, the chanted a fire spell and created a small fireball. Then she lowered the fireball in the pit and created a large bonfire. There was a wave of crying as the fire burned brightly and violently. Then the two handymen laid dirt into the hole to slowly put out the flame.

Later that night, Hystalin & Ailura gave Lion-O, Wylikit & Wylikat a tour in Dewarrloc Castle. She showed them the many places of interests and ended by showing them to their rooms. Wylikit & Wylikat went in the children's room, and Hystalin put baby Nocti in a beautiful crib. Ailura went to her old room. Hystalin & Lion-O went to the Royal Bedroom. There is where they slept and had a moment of passion and ecstasy.

Critic: "HEY! That is exactly what happened in "Free Spirits"! You're planning to have Hystalin be pregnant again???"
Xahji: "Hey! Who's telling the story, you or I?"
Critic: "Oh... proceed."
Xahji: "Thank you... now where was I? Oh yes!"

In the morning that follows, Hystalin woke up with a pain in her stomach. She rushes to bathroom to throw up in the toilet. Turns out she got morning sickness. (Uh oh... you know what that means!) Lion-O woke up and wondered where Hystalin could be. Lion-O found Hystalin in the bathroom, throwing up.

Lion-O: "Honey, are you okay?"
Hystalin: "Yeah, Ijust woke up with morning sickness."
Lion-O: "Well, maybe I'll ask Ailura for some medicine..."
Hystalin: "No, I have morning sickness. Do you know what that means?"
Lion-O: "You have a stomach flu?"
Hystalin: "No, it means that I could be pregnant!"
Lion-O: "You could be..."
Hystalin: "Uh-huh."

Lion-O was overjoyed that he was going to be the father of his second child. Later that day, Lion-O, Hystalin (holding Nocti in her arms), Ailura & The ThunderKittens got outside as the Cosmic Transport spell was prepared. They all left New Angelus and went back to New Thundera, but they weren't the only ones coming to New Thundera...

Bahamut: "I see New Thundera from here. We're almost there."
Butz: "Bahamut, can you land where we could find life of some sort?"
Bahamut: "I'll see what I can do. Just hold on tight."
Cara: "Thank god! If I hold any more, I'll explode."
Faris: "If I hear you mouth out again about your trouble with your bladder again, I'll scream!"
Queen Leena: "Faris, remember your blood pressure."
Faris: "But sis, she's starting to get on my nerves!"

The Thunderian/Angeleese Family arrived at New Thundera, the were blocked by a magic force field. They were unable to break through and ended up landing about half-a-mile away.

Lion-O: "What the hell happened?"
Hystalin: "I don't get it! We were supposed to be at New Cat's Lair. How come we didn't go through?"
Ailura: "We were blocked by something... whatever it was, I don't know."
Wylikit: "You mean..."
Wylikat: "We cannot get inside Cat's Lair?"
Ailura: "Only until it's lifted."
Lion-O: "Shit!"
Hystalin: "Then that must mean..."
Ailura: "Something must've happened to Cheetara, Ben Gali & Panthro. We got to get in there and see what happened!"

Just then, the four 'Warriors of the Crystal', flying on Bahamut, landed safely near the family.

Butz: "Hello. We're looking for the 'Nina De Milagro'. Do you know where we can find her?"
Lion-O: "What is this 'Nina De Milagro'?"
Butz: "I'll explain..."
Cara: "Where's the bathroom?"
Faris: "GO FIND A BUSH!"
Cara: "WAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!"

Cara ran quickly to find a bush were she can relieve herself. They all introduce themselves.

Butz: "My name is Butz, and this is Queen Leena of Tycoon, Faris, and the one at the bush is Cara. We come from the Planet R. The one who brought us here is Bahamut, the King of the Dragons."
Bahamut: "Hello."
Queen Leena: "We came to find the 'Nina De Milagro' and our sworn enemy, Exodes."
Faris: "We found him on our world teaching four ugly mutants the ways of magic."
Lion-O: "Mutants?"
Faris: "Yeah, there was a reptile, a big ape, a birdman, and a talking dog."
Lion-O: "I don't believe it! Slythe, Monkian, Jackalman & Vultureman!"
Wylikit: "They're here?"
Queen Leena: "Possibly. When we came to a big building that looked like a lion, we were blocked by a magic wall. They've also learned to summon monsters, no doubt."
Wylikat: "The mutants know magic?"
Ailura: "This is bad.. very bad."
Butz: "What's worse, is that Exodes, and enemy of ours that we thought we destroyed is alive and well. He's the most dangerous than any mutant."
Queen Leena: "Where's Cara?"
Faris: "She's by that bush."
Queen Leena: "Cara, are you finished?"
Cara: "Almost... (pushing) Oh boy, I needed to go so bad, I could taste it!"
Butz: "Well, as I was saying, we need to get past that barrier and find Exodes, and to keep the 'Nina De Milagro' alive.
Hystalin: "What is the 'Nina De Milagro' that you guys are talking about?"

Cara finished her business and went back to join the others.

Cara: "My pet moogle told us that a baby was born on this planet. That baby is the 'Nina De Milagro'. It means 'Miracle Girl'.
Hystalin: "You mean that my Nocti is the 'Nina De Milagro'?"
Ailura: "And we were going to have her baptized in the Pool of Radiance."
Butz: "Exodes wants to kill the child before she could be baptized. If he does, the universe in dire straits!"
Hystalin: "Oh my!"
