Mumm-Ruzzo was about to rest in the casket until he heard a maniacal laughter that was not his echoing throughout the pyramid halls. "Huh? What is this? What's going on?" Mumm-Ruzzo asked himself. "Why does it sound so familiar?" The cauldron continued to bubble fiercely as the laughter continued and grew larger in decibels. The eyes of the four statues from each corner began to glow an eerie shade of red. The waters of the cauldron shot up to 12 feet into the air in the form of a waterspout. After a few minutes the waters subsided and in its wake stood in the air a man with blue skin, long cape with an extravagant headdress and a red and blue skirt. It was Mumm-Ra!

"I have waited a long time to return to this dimension!" stood the ever living source of evil. "I've been absent from this world for over 23 years! Now, New Thundera will fear Mumm-Ra, the Ever-Living once again!" Mumm-Ruzzo just stood there in absolute amazement.

"Father?!?!" That was the only words that bellowed out of Mumm-Ruzzo as she stood and watched his father reappear in front of him. Mumm-Ra turned around as witnessed his next of kin standing by the cauldron. "Mumm-Ruzzo, my son!" Mumm-Ra said out loud. "I thought I would never see you again!" Mumm-Ra flew downward to hug his adolescent child.

"How did you get back here father?" Mumm-Ruzzo asked as a tear of blood trickled down his light blue cheek. "I don't know how I got here, but now I can get back to my job!" Mumm-Ruzzo wondered how his father returned back to New Thundera. Then, a flashback of all the events he witnessed when Vegita game to New Thundera for its Dragon Balls. He remembers hearing from one his friends about the wish. "We wish to bring all who died by the hands of another on New Thundera to be brought back to the World of the Living!" he remembers hearing from Nocti after the saiyin wars. "That's it!" Mumm-Ruzzo thought. "It was the Dragon Balls that must've brought my father back to life, but how?"

"So my son, are you ready to plunder this planet with our awesome powers and evil beliefs?" Mumm-Ra asked his son. "Think of it. You, Mumm-Ruzzo, the Ever-Omniscient and I, Mumm-Ra, the Ever-Living... working together to spread our evil throughout the planet. We will be an unstoppable force!" Mumm-Ruzzo was curious about his father's offer.

"Father..." Mumm-Ruzzo said. "Have you ever heard of Hystalin the Black Paladin?" "What?" Mumm-Ra asked. "How do you know about my goody-goody sister? She didn't tell you about me, did you?" Mumm-Ruzzo just stood in fear. "So she's here, isn't she? She told you about how I became what I am, did she? You've now allied with that prissy little bitch, have you?" Mumm-Ra grilled his son. Mumm-Ruzzo could not say anything to his father. "So you've turned your back to the Ancient Spirits of Evil, have you? I cannot believe that my own son would be a back stabbing judas!" Mumm-Ra said as he slapped Mumm-Ruzzo in the face, knocking him to the ground.

Mumm-Ruzzo just sat on the floor, completely shocked at his father's reaction. "Father?" Mumm-Ruzzo asked in confusion. "Don't even call me that! You do not deserve to call me your father! You are a disgrace to the Ancient Spirits of Evil. Get out!" Mumm-Ra shouted. "Get out of here now! If I see you again, it will be your last day on this miserable planet!" Mumm-Ruzzo could not understand what his father was doing, but one thing was certain. The father that he once idolized and wanted so much to return, disowned him and wants him out of his afterlife. The only thing Mumm-Ruzzo could do was to leave the Black Pyramid with tears of blood running down his cheeks.

After Mumm-Ra's disowned son left the Black Pyramid left, Mumm-Ra walked to the cauldron so he could see what happened while he was gone. As he set his cauldron to rewind like a VCR, he sees the events that unfolded after his demise. He witnesses in his cauldron the arrival of his sister Hystalin to New Thundera, her marriage with Lion-O, the birth of their six daughters up to the part where Vegita was expelled from New Thundera by the whims of Lion-O's eldest daughter Nocti.

"I thought I would never see that bitch again!" Mumm-Ra shouted. "Lion-O has made an alliance with Angelus, with he and Hystalin being married! My sister Hystalin is now the Lady of the ThunderCats! I don't believe it!" Mumm-Ra extended his arms outwards. "I cannot allow this to continue any longer!"

Meanwhile, back on Cat's Lair, Lion-O & Hystalin were tending to political matters in the rampant cities blossoming all around the Cat's Lair. Nocti was still sitting in her room, wondering about her supposedly deceased husband Ocello. Everyone else was tending to everyday duties throughout the lair. Just then, the alarms go off, breaking the moments of normalcy.

Lion-O, Hystalin and the rest of the ThunderCats ran toward the control room to see what was the commotion. It was Mumm-Ruzzo knocking on the front door screaming in agony. "It's Mumm-Ruzzo. I wonder what he wants?" Lion-O wondered. Hystalin volunteered to see what was amiss. She leaves the control room and makes her way to the front door.

The front door open, and Mumm-Ruzzo kneels to ground screaming and crying in agony. Hystalin goes to the young mummy to talk to him. "Mumm-Ruzzo, is there anything wrong?" Hystalin asked in a calm voice. "Oh, it's awful! It's terrible! I thought I would never see it again!" Mumm-Ruzzo said as his tears of blood trickles down his light blue cheeks. "Please tell me Mumm-Ruzzo. I'm listening." Hystalin replied. "Well, you're not going to believe this..." Mumm-Ruzzo began to explain. "...but my father is back! He returned, and then he disowned me!" "Your father?" Hystalin wondered. "You don't mean Mumm-Ra, do you?" Mumm-Ruzzo nodded.

Hystalin was just completely shocked. "So, Muhin has come back." Hystalin said to herself. "Please, come with me. I'm sure the rest of the ThunderCats would want to hear this." Hystalin brought Mumm-Ruzzo inside the Cat's lair so he can tell the ThunderCats his story.

Back inside the Cat's Lair, Mumm-Ruzzo tells Lion-O, Ailura, Krysa, Tygra, Panthro, Pumyra, Ben Gali, Cougara, Wylikit, Wylikat, Brainchild, & Hystalin again his story about his father returning to New Thundera, and that the man disowned him. "...and that's what happened." Mumm-Ruzzo said as he wiped a tear of blood with a piece of cloth. "My father is back and now he wants me dead... AGAIN! You guys got to help me! He'll kill me fore sure! I just know it!" Lion-O was both shocked that his ancient nemesis has returned, and that the life of his new ally was in danger. "Don't worry. I have faced Mumm-Ra before and won. Surely, I can beat him again, but it has been so long since I've fought against that monster." Mumm-Ruzzo was relieved.

Just then, the wind began to pick up in the room. There was an eerie glow that filled the room, then faded to black. Then, the lights went back on and lo and behold, Mumm-Ra was in the air, ready for blood. "HAHAHAHAHA! Once again I come back to this dimension to plunge this world in a shroud of evil! New Thundera will fear the wrath of Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living once again!" Mumm-Ra looked down at that ThunderCats and witnessed that Mumm-Ruzzo was among his enemies. "So Mumm-Ruzzo, you worthless, disgraceful, pathetic waste of sperm! I knew you were a traitor! I regret the day I ever laid eyes on your mother, Mumm-Rana!" Mumm-Ra shouted. "As I said, when I see you again, you will die! Now I will keep my promise!"

Mumm-Ra shot a large blast of red lightning at Mumm-Ruzzo and the ThunderCats. Mumm-Ruzzo was able to put up a magic shield before his father's blast connected. Mumm-Ruzzo retaliated by shooting a fire spell at Mumm-Ra. The fire struck its target. "I cannot believe my son would attack his dear old dad!" Mumm-Ra said sarcastically. "You really are a traitor!" Mumm-Ruzzo shouted out, "You threw me away! You decided you don't want anything to do with me because I made a truce with the ones you hate! Therefore, you are no longer my father!"

Mumm-Ra was really pissed off by Mumm-Ruzzo's tongue lashing. "Fine! You want to be with the ThunderCats? You can be killed with the ThunderCats!" Mumm-Ra said as she threw a very powerful Demon's Blaze spell. Mumm-Ruzzo was able to stop the attack but not with using himself to block it. Mumm-Ruzzo fell to the ground. Mumm-Ra could do nothing but laugh maniacally at his son's folly. "I'll be back later to finish off the rest of you! In the meantime, why don't you cremate my no-good, pathetic excuse of a son of mine! Tomorrow, New Thundera will fear once again the name of Mumm-Ra, the Ever-Living!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!" Mumm-Ra left the Cat's lair as he continued his maniacal laugh.

Lion-O & Hystalin rushed to Mumm-Ruzzo's side as the rest of the Thundercats came behind them. "Mumm-Ruzzo? Are you okay?" Hystalin said quietly. "I'm fine, I just got too much of my father's attack." Mumm-Ruzzo said. "I beg of you, go find Mumm-Rana's help. Find my mother." That was the last words Mumm-Ruzzo said before he turned back to his mummy form and fell asleep. "Is he... is he dead?" Wylikit asked. "No, he's not dead, but he's out cold." Lion-O said. "He needs some time to rest."

Lion-O got up with a gleam in his eye. "I'm going to Third Earth." Lion-O said with determination. "I'm going to find Mumm-Rana and seek her help. I'm sure she can explain how she and Mumm-Ra had a son together!" Hystalin wanted to come too, but Lion-O advised her that she needs to stay behind so she can look after the rest of the ThunderCats. Hystalin reluctantly agreed.

Lion-O quickly got in the Feliner and turned on the engine. As the harbor doors slowly spread wide open, Lion-O controlled the Feliner to fly out and shoot of of the Cat's Lair and out into space. As Lion-O was passing through space, he headed nearby to a very powerful meteor shower, completely impassible to any spaceships. "Shit! The last thing I needs is a barrier that is too strong to go through. It looks like there's no option but to turn back home." Lion-O grabbed the controls and quickly went back to New Thundera, with his mission a complete failure.

Lion-O re-entered New Thundera's atmosphere and landed safely on the ground. The rest of the ThunderCats walked up to Lion-O, asking him about the flight. "I'm afraid I could not make it." Lion-O said somberly. "While I was out in space, there was a very powerful meteor shower blocking my way to Third Earth. There was no way for me to go through, so I had no option but to turn back home." Everyone was disappointed. "Our only hope is that Mumm-Rana can hear us and that she would come here herself to help us and Mumm-Ruzzo." Lion-O said.

"Did someone call my name?"

From out of the blue stood a tall, strong woman donning golden armor and a headdress with a dove on the top. It was the benevolent Mumm-Rana, The Ever-Good. "I hear you needed my assistance, Lion-O. It has been ages since I've seen you. How have you been?" Mumm-Rana asked. "I'm sorry you couldn't reach Third Earth. Meteor showers are such a bitch!" Lion-O told Mumm-Rana about the unexpected resurrection about Mumm-Ra and about Mumm-Ruzzo."

"You're serious? Mumm-Ruzzo is alive?" Mumm-Rana gasped. "I thought I would never see my son again!" Everyone was stunned. Hystalin walked up to Mumm-Rana. "Mumm-Rana, we were curious to ask you how did you and Mumm-Ra had a child together?" Mumm-Rana never knew the black paladin. "Who are you?" Mumm-Rana asked. "I am Hystalin, Lady of the ThunderCats. I am Lion-O's wife." Hystalin said. "Well, Hystalin, if you and your friends are curious on about how I and Mumm-Ra know each other, I'll tell you..."

Mumm-Rana begins telling her story.

Back in the days of First Earth, I was a servant to the Ancient Spirits of Evil, like Mumm-Ra. Back then, I fell in love with Mumm-Ra and eventually, we were married. After the wedding ceremony, I discovered that I was pregnant with Mumm-Ra's child. After nine months, I had a boy, and we named the child, Mumm-Ruzzo. As a family, I noticed few and far between that Mumm-ra was teaching our son to be a disciple to the Ancient Spirits of Evil. One time, Mumm-Ra himself told me of how he brought with him to witness a massacre of several villages. I was abhorred. At first, I discussed it with Mumm-Ra and he did this on more than one occasion. By then, my mind snapped. I told him that I did not want our son to learn evil at such a tender age, but Mumm-Ra disagreed with me. We got into a fight. He slapped my face and told me to hush myself. I didn't know what came over me. I told him that I did not want anything to do with the Ancient Spirits of Evil... or him. Since at that time divorce was expressly forbidden and punishable by death, I felt I had no choice but to take my son and leave the pyramid. Mumm-Ra was in close pursuit, but he was never able to catch up. We stayed in hiding for about three years. I felt I had no direction and no sense of purpose. That was until one day, the Ancient Spirits of Goodness came to me and my son and asked us to serve them instead of our previous gods. I decided to repent and I became not just Mumm-Rana, but Mumm-Rana, the Ever-Good. I wanted to bring my son in this union as well, but I was advised not to until he turned 13. I agreed, but a few days later, Mumm-Ra found us, and we were locked in a heated battle. We were at a stalemate until that coward took our son as his hostage. He said to me that if I came after my son, he would kill him for me turning traitor. He vanished with my son. Fearing my son's safety, I had no choice but not to chase after. That was the last time I've ever saw my son again.

"Can I see my son please? It will be the first time in almost 1500 years since I have seen my baby boy." Mumm-Rana asked. Lion-O said that she could, but her son is resting at the moment. "He was attacked by Mumm-Ra." Lion-O said. "He defended us against that monster and got hurt in the process." Mumm-Rana understood and she was led to the room where Mumm-Ruzzo was resting at.

Inside Cat's Lair, Mumm-Ruzzo was resting in a bed in his mummy form. Lion-O led Mumm-Rana inside so she could see him. Mumm-Rana entered the room as the door quietly shut behind her. "Mumm-Ruzzo..." Mumm-Rana whispered. "It's your mama. I've come to help your friends." Mumm-Ruzzo was still asleep. Mumm-Rana thought to herself, "Poor thing, being attacked by his own father must've hurt him a great deal. I'm sorry he had to pay for his father's mistake. I will make sure this will not go on unavenged. I'll personally make sure your father pays for his betrayal. No father in their right mind would betray his own child."

Mumm-Ruzzo's red eyes slowly began to open. "M...Ma... Mama... Mama is that you?" Mumm-Ruzzo slowly said. Mumm-Rana looked onto her child. "Mumm-Ruzzo, you need your rest. You've had such a hard day." "Mama, where are you? I can't see you, it's so dark." Mumm-Rana hushed her son and told her to get some sleep, for when he wakes up, his father will go back to where he came. Mumm-Ruzzo said good-night and gone back to sleep.

Back at the Black Pyramid, Mumm-Ra was witnessing the events unfolding at the Cat's Lair. "So that uptight little bitch wants to send me back to where I came from for taking care of that traitor, does she? Fine! I'll let the ThunderCats come here so they can 'take care of me' as they put it. No one can stop the fury of Mumm-Ra! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHH!!!!!!!!" Mumm-Ra shouted as it echoes throughout the pyramid.

Just then, loud booms could he heard throughout the pyramid. Mumm-Ra was completely disturbed from his gloating when it occurred. "Who dares interrupt Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living???" Mumm-Ra shouted out. Mumm-Ra looked unto his cauldron and sees that Hystalin, Lion-O & Mumm-Rana were outside, throwing random attacks at the ominous monolith. "Muhin! Come out and fight like a man you coward!" Hystalin screamed as she threw one magical attack after another. Mumm-Ra was itching for a fight with the Lord of the ThunderCats, his ex-wife and his sister Hystalin.

While the three was throwing attacks at the Black Pyramid, daring the evil mummy to come out and fight, Hystalin was hit by a stray blast of red lightning. She recovers quickly and looks in front of her and lo and behold, Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living was in the air, ready for their challenge. "Do you think you can come here and just attack anyone that you want? I will not let you brother!" Hystalin shouted out. "I will not let the attack you did on Mumm-Ruzzo go on unavenged!"

Mumm-Ra was not amused by his sister's long-winded speech. "It is you who shall pay!" Mumm-ra said as he attacked the three with a powerful Demon's Blaze attack. Hystalin kneeled down to the ground, as did Lion-O & Mumm-Rana. "Now I will destroy all of you!" Mumm-Ra shouted. Mumm-Rana got up and attacked Mumm-Ra with a spell of pure holy power. It damaged Mumm-Ra a great deal, but it was not enough to defeat him. Mumm-Ra continued his onslaught with Mumm-Rana, and the two ended up in yet another stalemate.

Back in the Cat's Lair, Pumyra was caring for Mumm-Ruzzo in his room. As he slept, he could hear the faint cries of help from his friends. Mumm-Ruzzo woke up and without a word, got up from bed and flew out of the Cat's Lair at top speed.

At the Black Pyramid, things were growing grim for Lion-O, Hystalin & Mumm-Rana. There was no one winning or losing, and Mumm-Rana's energy was waning. Ultimately, Mumm-Rana weakened too much to continue the fight and relaxed her attack too much. Mumm-Ra took advantage of this event and attacked his enemies with a red lightning spell. Mumm-Ra gloated over the his enemies' current defeat. "HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Now no one will stand in the way of Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living!"

"You're wrong father..."

Mumm-Ra was unaware of the voice he heard. "Who.. who could this be?" Mumm-Ra wondered. He looked toward the sky and sees his son, Mumm-Ruzzo flying towards him. "So, Mumm-Ruzzo, you intend of fighting me like your mother did? What a fool! You can die with them!" Mumm-Ra shouted as he attacked his son with his black magic. Mumm-Ruzzo blocked the attack and retaliated, but his dark magic did not do anything to the demon priest. "Damn! My magic will not work against him! What will I do?" Mumm-Ruzzo said to himself.

Just then, the images of the Ancient Spirits of Goodness appeared. They spoke to Mumm-Ruzzo, who was still blocking his father's attacks.

"Mumm-Ruzzo, we are the Ancient Spirits of Goodness. We've come to help you. But first we ask you this, will you repent your dark magic so you can accept the magic of the pure-hearted?" The spirits asked. Mumm-Ruzzo quickly agreed, for he cannot stand the Ancient Spirits of Evil and all that they stand for, as well as his father. "Good, now we will cleanse you of any evil in your heart, so you can receive the magic of the pure-hearted." The Ancient Spirits of Goodness said.

In what looked like a ceremony, the Ancient Spirits of Goodness raised their right arms outward and begun cleaning Mumm-Ruzzo of all the evil

that lays resident within him. During the process, the snakes and ribbons that adorned Mumm-Ruzzo's headdress slowly morphed into wings of a dove, and a white shimmer appeared in his red eyes. In the end, Mumm-Ruzzo the Ever-Omniscient, became Mumm-Ruzzo the Ever-Heroic! "You are now cleansed of all evil in your heart. After you beat your father, we will reward you with a pyramid of your own." The spirits slowly vanished. "Thank you Ancient Spirits of Goodness, thank you." Mumm-Ruzzo said.

Mumm-Ra lunged at his son, but Mumm-Ruzzo was quick to react when he caught his father in mid-strike, elbowed his face, kneed him in the gut and gave him an uppercut to the chin, followed with a spell of Holy Power. Mumm-Ra was weakened tremendously by the attack. Mumm-Ra counterattacked with more of his red lightning, but it was useless on Mumm-Ruzzo. Mumm-Ruzzo then unleashed The Holy Flames on Mumm-Ra. The attack was too much for the mummy, so he escaped into the Black Pyramid. Mumm-Ruzzo successful defeated his father with the help of the Ancient Spirits of Goodness.

Later, The Ancient Spirits of Goodness came to Mumm-Ruzzo. "You have done well in serving us Mumm-Ruzzo. Now, we will provide you with a home of your own, a White Pyramid." On another side of New Thundera, in a clearing inside a forest, a large structure was slowly being built. In about 15 seconds, the structure was completely built. It was a large white pyramid with matching obelisks. The Ancient Spirits of Goodness spoke to Mumm-Ruzzo once again. "If you go 1000 miles south of here, in a forest, you will find your new home, The White Pyramid. This is for you, for serving us. Good-bye Mumm-Ruzzo." The Ancient Spirits of Goodness said to Mumm-Ruzzo before they vanished. Mumm-Ruzzo quickly flew away, saying good-bye to his friends and his mother as he left.

Back in Cat's Lair, Mumm-Rana was talking to the ThunderCats about her reunion with her son. "I want to thank you for helping me see my son for the first time in centuries." Mumm-Rana said. "I would've given up hope if you hadn't told me about him." Lion-O did not need any thanks. "We should be the ones thanking you Mumm-Rana." Lion-O said. While they talk, Mumm-Ruzzo flew by.

"Hi Mom." Mumm-Ruzzo said. Mumm-Rana turned around and took a good look at her son. "My son, It's been so long!" Mumm-Rana said. Then, she took a closer look at her son. Mumm-Rana noticed that her son's headdress has wings of a dove, instead of the snakes and ribbons she saw earlier, symbolizing that her son has repented all evil. "Come to me my son." Mumm-Rana said as she stretched her hands outward. Mumm-Rana & Mumm-Ruzzo ran towards each other for a hug. No one had a dry eye.

"Finally, we are a family again!" Mumm-Rana said. "It's been almost 1500 years, but we are together again." Mumm-Ruzzo said to his mother. "I missed you mama." Mumm-Rana asked his son to come to Third Earth, so they can no longer be apart again. Mumm-Ruzzo declined. "I have New Thundera to protect. I have to stay on guard since Mumm-Ra returned. I'm sorry mom, but I have to do this." Mumm-Ruzzo said to his mother. "I understand." Mumm-Rana said. "I too have Third Earth to protect. I cannot turn my back on the people I've been protecting for centuries." Mumm-Rana was slowly disappearing in front of her son. "Wait Mom!" Mumm-Ruzzo shouted. "Will I ever see you again?" Mumm-Ruzzo slowly chuckled. "Of course, my son. You can always come visit Third Earth if you want to. My pyramid is always open to you." Mumm-Rana said as she vanished.

Back in the Black Pyramid, Mumm-Ra was watching the events unfolding in his cauldron. "So that no-good son of mine is now in league with the Ancient Spirits of Goodness now... this I cannot stand! I will make Mumm-Ruzzo pay for his treachery and I will destroy the ThunderCats myself! This planet will belong to Mumm-Ra!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!"
