Part 1

From the skies, a lonely figure, with wings of a bat, talons of a dragon, and black hair that split in seven directions, flies in New Thundera's atmosphere. She flies through the skies at breakneck speed, hoping to find the ones she know. "This has to be New Thundera. I'll find the my mother... and maybe my grandmother here! I must!" the female said as she sped through the skies.

Back on New Thundera, Nocti was polishing her father's sword. She sighs and wonder if her father is proud of the deeds she has done. "Father, how am I doing?" Nocti says to herself, then she continues to polish the Sword of Omens.

"I'm very proud of you Nocti."

Nocti turned around and saw her father, Lion-O in his spirit form, standing in the room. "Father, is that you?" Nocti said. "Yes, it's me." Lion-O replied. "I'm very proud of what you have done." Nocti turned around and told her father what she felt. "Father, I feel that this job is too big... even with my sisters' help." Lion-O turned to his daughter and said to her, "That sounded like how I was when I was given the job when I was 12 years old. I can understand you tentative feeling towards your duty, for I have been there myself. Believe in yourself, my daughter. Know that you're not alone, and you're more powerful than you think you are."

Nocti felt a little bit of comfort after hearing her father's words. "Thank you father." Nocti said. Lion-O faded away, saying to Nocti "Believe in yourself." before he vanished again. Nocti just sighed and said to herself, "I wish there was a way to bring my father back..."

Just then, the alarms in Cat's Lair went off like crazy. Nocti quickly ran out of the room and to where the other Thundercats are. "What is going on?" Nocti asked. Panthro pressed several buttons on the control panel to show what is going on outside of the lair. "It appears we have a visitor." Panthro said. "Who could this be? Hystalin looked closer to the screen. "I don't recognize her... she does not someone I know from Angelus... yet she looks somewhat familiar..."

Devilman volunteered to go outside to see what is going on. "Devilman, she could be dangerous!" Nocti said. Devilman turned to Nocti and said, "Don't worry. I can deal with the likes of her." Nocti just looked to Devilman and told him to be careful. Devilman thanked Nocti, and proceeded to the front door.

The female outside of the New Cat's Lair was banging on the front door, screaming in agony for help in a very high-pitched voice. The front door opened, and Devilman walked out. "Excuse me, but is there anything you want?" Devilman asked. "I come looking for the ThunderCats... and my family." Devilman looked to the woman and said, "I don't know about your family, but the ThunderCats are here." The woman looked up to Devilman with tears in her eyes. "I must speak to the leader of the ThunderCats right away!" Devilman led the woman inside New Cat's Lair.

Part 2

Inside Cats' Lair, the ThunderCats listened to the girls story. "My name is Nightshade," the girl said, "and I come from 16 years in the future... a very dark and dismal future filled with evil, malice and despair." Nocti turned the girl and asked her, "Exactly why are you here although your story does sound a little farfetched." Nightshade took a deep breath and begun her story.

"It began after my grandfather passed away." Nightshade begun her story. "After he died in battle, my mother was unwillingly given the job of running our world. Afterwards, she grew into a self-loathing period. Later, a demon priest called Mumm-Ra unleashed a horde of wicked monsters from the planet Angelus and brought them to New Thundera. They were simply called 'The Brood'. Many of the people of New Thundera and Angelus fought these monster hordes, but millions of people lost their lives to 'The Brood.' I was forced to see the monsters killed almost everyone on New Thundera. Even my family, who fought 'The Brood', were all massacred. They even wiped out the snarf population!"

Snarfer took a loud gasp as he heard Nightshade's dark story. Arakni also shook in fear as she heard Nightshade's story as well. Night restarted on telling her story. "After Mumm-Ra unleashed 'The Brood', he began a new era... an era of darkness, evil and malice. He found me, and tried to use me in his dark experiments. When he discovered my unique genetic line, he tried to bring out many vicious powers that I wanted to be left buried. He knew that my mother was royalty and my father a half-demon. He used his black magic on me and turned me into the monster I am now."

Nocti & Devilman were a bit perplexed about what Nightshade said. "Her mother was of royalty?" Nocti said under her breath. "A half-demon?" Devilman mumbled. "Which two could be her parents?" Nightshade resumed telling her story one more time. "There was one thing that could kill 'the Brood' and Mumm-Ra... the Eternal Demon Slayer. My grandmother told me the story of the Eternal Demon Slayer before her death. Nine elemental swords from Angelus can combine into one strong enchanted blade than can eliminate all evil. My grandmother had 2 from her mother before, but the other seven were never found. With the few allies I had, we went to Angelus to find the other seven swords. We were unsuccessful and only I survived. You must kill Mumm-Ra before he summons 'the Brood', and to do that, you need to find seven other Angeleese magic swords... and to summon the Eternal Demon Slayer!"

Hystalin recognized several aspects of Nightshade's story. "Could this me?" Hystalin thought. "Could this mean that she... maybe... Yes! It is! If it is true, I better not tell anyone of my suspicions. Yes... it may best to keep my theory under my hat." Nocti looked to Nightshade and told her, "We will do something about this. Make no mistake about that." Nightshade felt less ill-at-ease than before and thanked Nocti for her words.

Little did everyone know, Mumm-Ra looked at the scene through his cauldron. "Well... this is quite a surprise. I'm going to unleash this 'Brood' and bring death and chaos to the ThunderCats? In that case, that is what I shall do if it means destroying the Thundercats in one well-made swoop! Oh yes... if what that girl says is true, 'The Brood' is my key to destroying the ThunderCats once and for all! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!! First, I must do some research on this first." Mumm-Ra used his magic to move his casket and called for his pet, Ma-Mutt. They went in the door and prepared the Mumm-Raft.

Part 3

At Cats' Lair, Hystalin was outside with Nightshade, Devilman, Nocti, Ailura & Tygra. Hystalin spoke her words to Nightshade. "Nightshade," Hystalin said to Nocti, "we are going to perform the Cosmic Teleport. You and I shall be going to Angelus with Devilman, Nocti, Ailura & Tygra. We shall be going to Angelus, so we can find the other magic swords that you told us about. I hope we can be of some service to you."

Nocti thought of the situation and said to herself, "Well, they know that I have to leave home for awhile. I hope they can handle anything without me right now." Ailura & Tygra told the others that they are ready. Devilman does the dame as well. "Okay, it's time to go to Angelus." Hystalin said. "Everyone, join hands, so we can..."

"WAIT!"

Hystalin turned around to see who was asking to wait. It was Acrapha. "I want to come along too!" Acrapha shouted. "I want to help you." Hystalin turned to Acrapha and said, "Are you sure? It will be rather dangerous Acrapha." "There is no way I'm going to be left out this time!" Acrapha protested. "I want to have a part of the action this time!" Nocti turned to her mother and said, "She has a point there Mother." Nocti said. "Besides, I owe her for all of the fights she had to miss because of me." Hystalin sighed, turned to Acrapha, and said, "Yes, you can come Acrapha. Just be careful!" Acrapha was overjoyed. "Now, everyone join hands," Hystalin said, "So we can perform the cosmic teleport..."

Meanwhile, on Angelus, Mumm-Ra and Ma-Mutt reaches Angelus through the Mumm-Raft. "We finally made it my wretched pet." Mumm-Ra said. "We've finally made it to... huh?" Mumm-Ra looked to his surroundings and feels an unknown energy. It was a feeling he felt a very long time ago and cannot remember. "Why do I have the strangest feeling that I know this place?" Mumm-Ra said to himself. "Where can I find any information on what Nightshade called 'The Brood'?"

Several hours later, Hystalin, Devilman, Nocti, Acrapha, Nightshade, Ailura & Tygra reaches Angelus. "We're home again". Ailura said. "I forgot how much it feels to be home." Acrapha looked around to see what is around her. "Is this where I come from?" Acrapha asked. "It is a part of your heritage." Hystalin said to her daughter. "Part of you blood originated on this world." Tygra asked the others, "What is the first thing we must do on this world?" Ailura said to Tygra, "We should go to DeWarrloc Castle. A magic sword dwells there." Hystalin was smart enough to bring the Magic Sword of Fire with her. "Before my mother's death, she found two magic swords... the one I hold in my hand, The Magic Sword of Fire, and the one that rests in DeWarrloc Castle, The Magic Sword of Water. "Yes, we should go there..." Devilman said. With those words, the group headed off to DeWarrloc Castle, for the second magic sword dwells within its walls.

Hystalin looked to Nightshade, then looked to Nocti and Devilman. "I wonder if she knows." Hystalin said to herself.

Meanwhile, Mumm-Ra reaches the Angeleese Library, which unbeknownst to him, is it the birthplace of his powers. "If my memories serve me well," Mumm-Ra said, "every single document that is recorded about this planet's history should be here. I shall surely find some information about 'The Brood" here." Mumm-Ra slowly entered the Angeleese library. Suddenly, he feels an that unknown feeling a second time. "What is it that I feel?" Mumm-Ra said to himself. "What could this be?"

Part 4

Hystalin, Nocti, Acrapha, Devilman, Nightshade, Ailura & Tygra are at the foot of DeWarrloc Castle. Hystalin calls for her sister, Electra. "Electra!" Hystalin shouted, "Open the door, it's us!" Electra ran to the nearest window and looked to the front door. "Hystalin! You've come home!" Electra shouted. "Be right there! I'm going to open the door in a moment!" Several moments passed. With the sound of squeaky gears and rattling chains, the doors of DeWarrloc Castle opened wide to welcome the oncoming party. The group entered the castle without haste.

Meanwhile, Mumm-Ra was in DeWarrloc Castle, sifting through many old and archaic books. "Where can I find information on this... Brood?" Mumm-Ra said to himself as she continued to read through the many books inside of the Angeleese Library. Then, Ma-Mutt brought to Mumm-Ra's attention a single scroll. "I don't have time to play fetch with you Ma-Mutt!" Mumm-Ra scowled. "Go find somewhere else to play your ridiculous games!" Later, Ma-Mutt jumped on the table where Mumm-Ra sat by and rolled out the scroll. "Why you wretched hound! I'd... hey... what's this!" Mumm-Ra sneered as he looked in the scroll's writing. "This has information on 'The Brood'! Thank you my vile pet!"

In DeWarrloc Castle, Electra was chatting with her company. "Welcome to the DeWarrloc Castle. Hyst, Ailura, who are your friends?" Electra asked. "Electra, I want you to meet Tygra of New Thundera. This is Devilman, who came to settle on New Thundera a month ago." Hystalin began her introductions. "Of course, you know my daughters, Nocti & Acrapha." Nocti & Acrapha bowed and said simultaneously, "Hello Aunt Electra." "This is Nightshade, a girl who came to us for help. Her home is being terrorized by a group of monsters called 'The Brood'." Electra suddenly become pale-faced. "Did you say... 'The Brood'???" Electra stuttered. Hystalin nodded in agreement.

Back at the Angeleese Library, Mumm-Ra was reading the single scroll. "It says here that a sorceress named Andorra, along with the entire population of Angelus fought against a horde of 12 monsters called 'The Brood'." Mumm-Ra read. "Why does the name, Andorra, sound familiar?" Mumm-Ra then continued to read the scroll. "With the last of her magic, she imprisoned the last 12 of 'The Brood' on a faraway planet that she thought was uninhabitated. It says that only one who is of the house of DeWarrloc can unseal the monsters that are 'The Brood'." Mumm-Ra read. "Who can I use to unseal these voracious monsters?"

Back in the DeWarrloc Castle, Electra talked to her company what she knows of 'The Brood'. "The story was told by my mother, Andorra. Nocti, Acrapha, she is your grandmother." Electra said. "Over 3000 years ago, Angelus was terrorized by a group of monsters called 'The Brood'. The slaughtered thousands of innocent civilians, just to satisfy their bloodlust. The surviving people of Angelus, along with Andorra, used all of their magic power to banish 'The Brood' from Angelus and sealed them away to a faraway planet that they thought was uninhabited. As it turns out, that same planet was Thundera... a planet that was only half a light year away from Angelus. Only someone who is of the house of DeWarrloc can unseal 'The Brood' and the only way all twelve broodlings can be slain is by being stabbed in the forehead with the Eternal Demon Slayer."

Nocti turned to her aunt and asked her, "How can we summon this enchanted blade?" Nocti shouted. "Whatever it is, we shall do it!" Electra turned to her impetuous niece. "Patience, child. It's not as easy as you think." Electra said. "To summon the Eternal Demon Slayer, you need to find nine Angeleese elemental swords. We only have two, Hystalin's Magic Sword of Fire..." Electra turned to her side to reveal a magic item. "... and this... the Magic Sword of Water." Electra showed everyone the enchanted blade. "It's beautiful!" Acrapha said. "Since two swords are already known in existence you'll have to search through Angelus to find the other seven enchanted blades. According to Angeleese legend, each of the magic swords can detect each other through its aura. The brighter it glows, the closest it is to another magic sword."

Just then, in the DeWarrloc Castle, a loud, eerie laugh engulf its walls. The volume of the laugh grew louder with every second. "Who is that?" Acrapha said. "I recognize that laughter!" Nightshade said with a hint of anger. "He is the Antichrist of my dimension. MUMM-RA!" "So, you know it is me! Good, it cuts down on the confusion!" Mumm-Ra voice bellowed. "I found out about 'The Brood' and I shall unseal it, and all of you have no way of stopping Mumm-Ra, the Ever-Living! HAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!" Mumm-Ra's laughs subsided as he continued to laugh.

"By the gods and goddesses of Angelus," Hystalin snapped, "Muhin is going to unseal 'The Brood'!" Devilman turned to Hystalin and said, "He can?" "Yes, he can!" Hystalin said. "He is my older brother, and a member of the House of DeWarrloc! We have to stop him before he unseals 'The Brood'!" Nocti turned to her mother and said, "We'll help you!" Hystalin immediately refused Nocti's help. "It's best that you, Devilman, Acrapha, and Nightshade search through Angelus for the magic swords. Ailura, Tygra and myself shall go back to New Thundera and stop my brother before he brings Doomsday to New Thundera!" Hystalin then threw her sword, The Magic Sword of Fire, to her daughter. "Take this blade. It will help you find the other magic swords!" Hystalin shouted. "Search for them without haste! If we fail, the rest of you must find the other Magic Swords, so you can summon the Eternal Demon Slayer!" With that said, Hystalin, Ailura & Tygra joined hands and performed the Cosmic Teleport. In seconds, the three were out of Angelus. Nocti, Nightshade, Devilman, Acrapha and Electra were left in DeWarrloc Castle.

Part 5

On New Thundera, was eve's dropping on Mumm-Ra, who was with a dilapidated scroll in his hands, slowly looking at the scroll. "According to this scroll, I can unseal 'The Brood'." Mumm-Ra said to himself. "It is time for me to chant the spell and bring Doomsday to New Thundera!" As Cougara was ready to strike, Mumm-Ra unfurled the old scroll and begun his chant.

As Mumm-Ra chanted the spell, a single arrow struck the scroll away from Mumm-Ra's hands to a tree. "Who dares interrupt Mumm-Ra, the Ever-Living?" Mumm-Ra bellowed. To his side, he sees Cougara with her bow. "You will not bring your evil to this world anymore Mumm-Ra!" Cougara shouted. "You have a lot of courage to face me." Mumm-Ra said. "I shall reward your bravery by curing you of the ailment called life!"

Mumm-Ra emitted several bolts of red lightning to Cougara. Cougara leaped to the air and shot several more arrows at New Thundera. Mumm-Ra unleashed a magic wall, so that none of Cougara's arrows could strike at him. Cougara then drew out her mace and threw it at Mumm-Ra. The mace then struck at Mumm-Ra. In his weak mummy form, the projectile did some damage. "You will pay for striking that blow at me ThunderCat!" Mumm-Ra shouted.

Mumm-Ra began his chant. "Ancient Spirits of Evil," Mumm-Ra chanted, "transform this decayed form to Mumm-Ra, the Ever-Living!" Mumm-Ra transformed from his mummy form to his warrior form, where his powers were much more potent. Cougara squinted and readied another arrow. "I will not let you poison this planet anymore Mumm-Ra!" Cougara fired her arrow, but the arrow disintegrated at inches away from Mumm-Ra's face. Mumm-Ra laughed at Cougara's folly. Mumm-Ra powered himself up and emitted the Demon's Blaze spell at Cougara. Cougara tried leaping out of the way, however, the Demon's Blaze struck Cougara, killing her instantly. Mumm-Ra looked to Cougara's lifeless body and said, "I told you that I will cure you of the ailment that is life, and I have kept my promise!"

Moments later, Mumm-Ra was struck from behind with a magic spell. Mumm-Ra staggered has he was hit. "Who dares strike Mumm-Ra, the Ever-Living from behind???" From the skies, Hystalin & Ailura were in the air. Tygra has his bolo whip ready for attack. "Muhin, stop this madness! You unleash 'The Brood', you will end this planet's life!" Hystalin shouted. "What do you think I'm trying to do, you goody-two-shoes!" Mumm-Ra rasped at his sister.

Meanwhile, On Angelus, Hystalin, Acrapha, Nightshade & Devilman flew through the air, looking for the other seven magic swords. Acrapha looked at the Magic Sword of Water and says to herself, "I wonder where the other magic swords are?" Just then, the Magic Swords of Water & Fire began to pulsate with a bright light. "What is going on with the swords?" Devilman asked. "I think we found a magic sword!" Nocti said.

Just then, the Magic Swords flew in the air, and shot straight down to the ground, leaving a small hole. Acrapha, Nocti, Nightshade & Devilman look in confusion. Just then, the hole grew larger until the two magic swords were visible from the bottom... with another magic sword! Nocti flew downward to pick up the third sword. "What an unusual blade." Nocti said. "Which one of the magic swords is this?" Acrapha looked to her sister's new booty and said, "It came from the ground, didn't it? It must be the Magic Sword of Earth." Afterwards, the four continued their journey through Angelus for the next six magic swords.

Meanwhile, on Snake Way, a lonely figure makes his way to end. He looks up to see the small planet of King Kai that he needs to go. He leaps to the air, the planet's strong gravitational pull draws him to the planet's surface. "I finally made it. It took me months to reach here since Vegita killed me, and I can finally grow stronger, and finally, go back to my loving wife." The man said. The man got up on his feet and staggered from the intense gravity and called for King Kai.

Part 6

Mumm-Ra looked sternly at his younger sisters and Tygra. His anger grew rapidly as his plans for bringing Doomsday to New Thundera was postponed unwillingly. "You will pay for your folly, sisters!" Mumm-Ra scowled and threw several bolts of his red lightning. Hystalin & Ailura dodge easily. Tygra, with his bolo whip, made himself invisible. "I'll look for the scroll!" Tygra shouted as he was invisible. "You two can take care of Mumm-Ra." Hystalin agreed.

Hystalin, raised her level to Super-Saiyin Level 1 and attacked Mumm-Ra with the Enchanted Inferno spell. Mumm-Ra easily blocked the oncoming attack and countered with his dark magic. Hystalin dodged the attack slightly and fired several fire spells around Mumm-Ra. "This is for your own good Muhin, you must not unleash 'The Brood' to this world!" Hystalin commanded. "It is a Pandora's Box that should never be opened!" Mumm-Ra looked to his sister. "I will not let you interfere with my plans too bring this world in an everlasting abyss of evil!" Mumm-Ra shouted.

As Hystalin was about to attack again, Ailura stepped in front of her. "You will have to kill me if you want to summon 'The Brood' Muhin!" Ailura shouted. "Ailura???" Hystalin said. "What are you thinking? He might kill you, and you cannot be summoned back with the Dragon Balls!" Hystalin shouted. "Neither can you." Ailura snapped. "Besides, I know what I am doing. Leave this to me." Mumm-Ra looked to Ailura.

"If you wish to throw your life away, I won't stop you; in fact, I'll take your life right now!" After Mumm-Ra said his words, Mumm-Ra shot the Demon's Blaze at Ailura. Unexpecting Mumm-Ra's sudden attack, Ailura took a direct hit. After the attack, Ailura dropped to her knees in pain. "Muhin, I know this is not all of your fault... the evil spirit that possessed you is at fault," Ailura murmured, "but I cannot allow you to perform genocide on New Thundera." Ailura chanted a powerful on herself. With her magic, she turned herself into a giant dragon.

"What manner of twisted magic is this?" Mumm-Ra shouted. Ailura, in her dragon form, spoke. "It is the Draconus spell!" Ailura said. "With it, I can change into a giant dragon and make myself grow many times stronger than my normal form! Now you will have to face me, Muhin!" Mumm-Ra & Ailura began their fight.

Meanwhile, on Angelus, Nocti, Acrapha, Nightshade & Devilman wee flying through the skies, looking for the other six magic swords. As they through the skies, they pass by a tall mountain, and the magic swords begin to pulsate with an eerie light a second time. "Another magic sword is somewhere in the area." Devilman said.

The three magic swords fly out of their hands and soar to the mountain top. Nocti, Acrapha, Devilman & Nightshade were confused. Just then, the mountain top exploded. In its place, the three magic swords lay to the side... of another magic sword! "Another magic sword?" Acrapha wondered. "From the looks of it, it must be the Magic Sword of Wind." Nocti said. "How so?" Devilman asked. Nocti pointed out that it was in the top of the mountain to Devilman, and that it pointed to the sky. Devilman understood. "We have five more swords left to find. The group of four picked up the magic swords and left, looking for the next five magic swords.

Meanwhile, on King Kai's planet, King Kai himself exits his house and looks to the stranger. "Hello. I haven't had company in some time. What can I do for you, and what's your name?" King Kai asked. "My name is Ocello. I come here, so I could possibly receive your training, and possibly, return to my home world and my loving wife. King Yamma recommended you to me." Ocello said. "I can't help you with returning you back to your home," King Kai said, "but you can receive me training... but you need to make me laugh first. You will not receive any training from me unless you make me laugh." Ocello tripped over himself. "Make him laugh?" Ocello said to himself. "This is going to be harder than I thought!"

Part 7

Ailura stood in front of Mumm-Ra in her dragon form. She gazed upon her evil brother, felt some pity and spoke up. "Do you dare attack me, brother?" Ailura taunted. Mumm-Ra devilishly smiled and simply said, "Of course!" Mumm-Ra then chanted the Dark Blizzard spell on Ailura. It was the only magic spell that too strong for Ailura in her dragon form. Ailura staggered under Mumm-Ra's attack. She later emitted a powerful dragon fire on Mumm-Ra. The dragon breath weakened Mumm-Ra.

"I will not stop you from destroying this world Muhin." Ailura said. "This planet is too precious to destroy!" Mumm-Ra then said to Ailura, "Why don't you go clean those ugly scales of yours!" Mumm-Ra then mysteriously vanished leaving his loud, maniacal laughter audible throughout the area. Ailura reverse the Draconus spell on herself and returned to normal. "Where did Muhin ran off?" Ailura asked her sister. "My guess is, he's going to go after that scroll!" Hystalin said. "No need to worry." Ailura replied. "I sent Tygra to find the scroll."

At that time, Tygra, in his invisible status, looked frantically for the scroll that was in Mumm-Ra's hands. He searched far and wind for the artifact until he found the the scroll pinned to a tree with a single arrow. "This must be it." Tygra said to himself. "With this in the clutches of the ThunderCats, Mumm-Ra won't be able to do his evil magic. Unbeknownst to Tygra, Mumm-Ra was spying on Tygra from the shadows. As Tygra released the scroll, he could hear Mumm-Ra maniacal laughter echoing in the trees.

Tygra turns around and sees dozens of twigs aiming for him. He leaps from every single twig although one twig impaled his left hand. As time went by, the flying twigs continued to strike by Tygra's direction. Tygra unleashed his bolo whip to stop the twigs from striking him. Unfortunately, it was no use. Over a hundred broken branches pinned Tygra to the grown. Tygra was unable to move at all. Mumm-Ra then appeared to Tygra and said to him, "This is what happens to those who try to stop Mumm-Ra, the Ever-Living!" With Mumm-Ra's magic, he lifted a large tree from the ground and shaped it with into a spear with his dark magic. Unable to move himself, Tygra watched helplessly in horror as Mumm-Ra tree slowly impaled him through the torso, killing him slowly. Mumm-Ra picked up the scroll and looked to the dead ThunderCat. "May you rot in hell for all eternity!" Mumm-Ra shouted. Mumm-Ra vanished from the forest, leaving Tygra's lifeless body to rot in the forest.

Later, Mumm-ra returned to his pyramid study the scroll's contents further. "It says here that the holding place for the Brood is located on an ancient marker." Mumm-Ra said to Ma-Mutt. "The holding spot for the Brood is located at a marker that is shaped like a star inside a circle. I have to chant this magic spell and I can unleash the Brood!" Mumm-ra refurled the scroll and prepared for his journey throughout New Thundera for the marker. Just then, he heard a mysterious voice in his head. "Muhin, stop this!" Meanwhile, Nocti, Acrapha, Devilman & Nightshade flew throughout Angelus for the next magic sword they have to find. Along their travels, the encounter a cemetery. "What is this place?" Acrapha said. "It looks like a cemetery." Just as they comment, the Magic Sword of Water, Fire, Wind, & Earth begin to pulsate with an eriee light. "It looks like we might have found another magic sword." Devilman commented. "A magic sword in that spooky place?" Acrapha blurted. "I'm not sure I want to go there!" Just then, the four magic swords flew from the hands Nocti, Acrapha, Devilman & Nightshade and flew down to the cemetery.

The group of four landed to the surface and looked around the morbid place. Acrapha was shaking in her boots, yet the other three were calm but tense. Devilman, Nocti, Acrapha & Nightshade looked throughout the graveyard until the found the four magic swords surrounding a statue of an angel holding a sword. Nocti looked to the statue. "Could the next of the magic swords be in that statue?" Nocti said to herself. As the surrounding magic swords began to pulsate with a bright light, the angel statue started to gyrate and wobble until it cracked and split apart... leaving the sword intact! Nocti picked up the stone swords and said, "Is this what we're looking for?" Just then, the swords mysteriously changed from stone to metal and ruby! "What kind of sword is that?" Acrapha said nervously. "Judging from the heart-shaped jewels in the hilt," Nocti deducted, "This must be the Magic Sword of Life."

As they picked up the other four magic swords, Nightshade, Devilman, Nocti & Acrapha left the graveyard. Nightshade looked to Devilman and then to Nocti and said to herself, "I can't believe it! I'm actually flying with my mother and father! I just hope that the Eternal Demon Slayer will be enough to stop those Brood monsters." The four continued to fly through the skies for the next magic sword.

Meanwhile, on King Kai's planet, Ocello was trying his best to make King Kai laugh... all to no avail. Ocello sat down and said to himself, how can I get this tub of lard to cackle like a banshee?" Just then, he remembered a joke that made him laugh incessantly, told by his sister-in-law, Hypnos. He remembered the joke, got up, walked to King Kai, and began telling his joke. "What do you call three blondes on top of each other?" Ocello spoke out. King Kai was clueless. Ocello devilishly smiled and shouted, "AN AIR MATRESS!!!" King Kai looked to Ocello, slowly cracked a smile, then bursted with maniacal laughter! "It worked! Thank you Hypnos!" Ocello said to himself.

King Kai got up, still chuckling a little and said to Ocello, "You've passed part one of your training. Your next step is to catch Bubbles." Ocello wondered about what King Kai said. "Who is Bubbles?" Ocello naively asked. King Kai then called for Bubbles. Bubbles, King Kai's little chimp, walked to Ocello with curiosity. Ocello looked at Bubbles with curiosity as well. "In order for you to get to the next level, you much catch Bubbles." King Kai said. "SAY WHAT???" Ocello shouted in disbelief. "That's right. You heard right!" King Kai replied. "Get ready... and go!" King Kai sent Bubbles on his way. Ocello pushed himself to run through the small planet, so he can catch Bubbles.
