"Sakura-chan?  Sakura-chan!"

"Oh, Tomoyo-chan."  Sakura beamed as her friend walked over to her.  "Hoeh~?"  she blinked.  "What happened to your video recorder?"

Tomoyo smiled.  "I didn't wish to bring my big one so my mother bought me a smaller one."  she took it out of her purse.  "Isn't it cute?"

 Sakura sweatdropped.  "(Mmm-hmm.  Its lovely.)"

The other girl gave her a peace sign.  "I must always get your /triumphs\ on camera!"  she announced.

 Sakura fell over.  /Why me..?\

"SAKURA!"  Cerberus flew down to her with the worried expression that had often creeped the girl out.  "Sakura!  A Clow card is nearby!  Can you feel it?"

She tilted her head.  Then she shook it.  Cerberus crashed into the wall nearby and rubbed its head.

"Stupid."  Syaoran walked over, dressed for the occasion in his special battle clothes.

 "Li-kun!"  Sakura blinked, surprised.

"If you can't feel it when you're so close to it, how can you call yourself a "card captor" in the first place?"  Syaoran continued,  "See, I /told\ you that you aren't fit enough to collect the ca-"

"Ooooh~!  Sakura-chan!  Good morning!"  a familiar voice called out and the boy stopped in mid-sentence, his mouth still open.  Yukito smiled at them, riding over with his bike.  He glanced curiously at Cerberus.  Cerberus quickly dropped to the floor with its "I'm-a-stuffed-animal-of-Sakura's-so-don't-mind-me" act.  Yukito's smile got warmer as he said, "Cute doll, Sakura-chan.  Where did you get it?"

"Umm..I..I..I.."  Sakura stammered, grabbing the orange bear-like creature and stuffing it into her backpack.  "Um..I.."  /Hooooeeeehh~!!\

"She got it from a fair that we went to."  Tomoyo interrupted, giving the boy a smile back.

/Thank goodness for Tomoyo-chan..\  Sakura thought to herself.

"Oh."  Yukito nodded.  "I see."  then he turned to Syaoran.  "Oh, I forgot to ask.  Where did you get those clothes?  Are they from Hong Kong?"

It was Syaoran's turn to stammer.  "Um...I...er..."

"Yes, those were from Hong Kong."  Tomoyo helped him out.

"I see."  Yukito sweatdropped.  "(It seems that you are going to have to be the translator for both of them today, doesn't it?)"

/Sakura!\  a muffled voice spoke urgently to the girl and she bit her lip.

"Uh..um..I..have to go.."  she managed to squeak out.

"Oh, really?"  Yukito seemed surprised.  "Well, Touya and I were going to study at his house (er...and your house...) so I'll see you later?"

"Yes!  I'll see you later!"  she waved, grabbing a hold of Tomoyo's arm and her backpack and hurrying away as fast as she could go.

When they were finally away from the boy, Sakura pulled Cerberus out of her backpack.  "Gee.  Why did Yukito-san have to come at such a bad time..?"  she glanced back at where the boy was and realized that she had forgotten about Syaoran.  "Um, Tomoyo-chan, stay right here, I'll be back!"  she ran off, grabbed Syaoran, and rushed back to where Tomoyo was waiting.  Yukito was left in the middle of a sentence, dazed and partially confused about what was going on.

"Hey!  What do you think you're doing!?"  Syaoran growled as Sakura called up her magic rod.  [Um...flute?  Um...I dunno what it's called, so it'll be referred to as a 'rod' from now on, k? ^.^;;;]

"You know."  Sakura turned to Cerberus.  "What card is here?"

Cerberus thought for a few seconds.  Then it shrugged.  "I dunno."

Sakura and Syaoran fell over, sweatdropping.

"Um...am I interrupting...?"  Yukito's voice was heard nearby and everyone looked around to see where it was coming from.  "Um...up here."  he called out, and Sakura sweatdropped as she found him standing on a tree branch, listening to their conversation.  "I forgot to give you something..."

"No, you aren't interrupting at all, Yukito-s-a-.."  the girl glanced down at her rod and then glanced at Cerberus.  "Um..uh-oh.."

Tomoyo jumped right in.  "Oh, this isn't all what it seems."  she smiled innocently.  "It's not that Sakura-chan can use any powers or anything, or that she's a "card captor" or anything of that sort.  She's just an ordinary girl; did I mention that she wasn't magica-"  Syaoran clamped his hand over her mouth.

"Forget it."  he sighed.  "He knows, now.  Should have prepared for something of this sort..."

"Li-kun.."  Sakura gulped, glancing up at Yukito.

Yukito smiled.  "You all like magic, don't you?  Sakura-chan, I didn't know you had magical supplies."  he then blinked.  "How did you make the doll talk?"  he pointed at the annoyed Cerberus.

Sakura and Syaoran fell over, sweatdropping, while Tomoyo breathed a sigh of relief.

*****************************

"Well, at least he didn't figure it out."  Cerberus was saying.

"But we couldn't get the Clow card because of him..."  Tomoyo informed.

"It wasn't Yukito-san's fault!"  Sakura and Syaoran said at the same time.  They exchanged glances and then looked away.

"Anyways, it was Sakura's fault for using her magic there in the first place, even before we knew what card it was."  Syaoran stated.

"It was /not\ Sakura's fault!"  Sakura complained.

"Now, now."  Cerberus took charge.  "I found out what card it was."

"What is it?"  Syaoran titled his head.

 "It's the 'unknown.'"

Sakura fell over and Syaoran sweatdropped.  "Are you saying that it's the 'unknown' card or that you have no idea what the heck it is?"

 "The first one, kid."

He scowled.  "Don't call me /kid.\"

 "Kid."

"Shut up, you stupid stuffed doll!"

 "Shrimp!"

"WHO ARE YOU CALLING A SHRIMP!?"

 "You."  it said authoritatively.

"Well, at least /I'm\ no stupid orange doll!"

 Cerberus bit the boy's finger.

"YOOOOOWWW!!!"  Syaoran tried to shake the creature off.

"Come /on,\ Kero-chan, grow up."  Sakura pulled Cerberus off the boy with a little bit of trouble.  "What is the "unknown" card?"

"Can't you tell from the name of it?"  Syaoran made a face, gingerly wrapping a bandage around his finger.  "It's u-n-k-n-o-w-n.  That means we won't know what it is until we try to use it!"

"/We?\"  she brightened. "Does that mean that you're going to help us now?"

"Who said anything about /help?\"  he turned away, his face slightly red.

"Well, anyways, we don't need /your\ help if you're not willing to hel-."  Cerberus announced.

"Wait!"  Sakura interrupted.  "We..um..I'd.."  she glanced down.  "I'd..appreciate..it..if you helped..us..Li-kun.."

"Sure.  Whatever you say.  Mmm-hmm.  I believe you."  the boy rolled his eyes.

"ARE YOU CRAZY!?"  Cerberus cried out to Sakura.

"No!  I..uh..mean it.."  Sakura replied, glancing down.

Cerberus tilted its head.  "Sakura, something troubling you?"

 "No."

"Then why invite this /idiot\ to come with us, willingly?!"  it shrieked.

"Well, he has the 'time' card and..and..and.."  she shrugged.

"So!?  If he uses the time card /or\ any of his other magic, /he's\ going to be the one who gets to keep the card!  Did you /already\ forget that!?"  it yelled into her ear and she cringed.

"But..but.."  she took a step back.  She sniffled.  "But..I thought that if Li-kun could come, that we could..um..um..um.."  she trailed off, glancing to Tomoyo for help.  Tomoyo blinked in confusion and then shrugged.

"..fine."  Syaoran stated after a while, stuffing his hands in his pockets.  "I'll go.  But don't count on me to /help you\ or anything."

 "Okay!"  she beamed.

"Brat."  Cerberus scowled.  "(Not that we need your help or anything anyways.  It'd be a lot better off if you don't come.)"

 "Kero-chan!  I am /not\ a brat!"  Sakura complained.

"Not you, that /boy\ over there.  Immature brat thinks he knows everything."  it added with scorn.

"Kero-chan!"  she glanced at the boy, who was shaking his fist at the creature.  "Who's immature!?  You're supposed to be way older than us and..and..you're acting like a little kid, too!"  she pouted.

Cerberus and Tomoyo exchanged glances, both with the same idea in mind.  /Sakura has finally lost it.\

"Li-kun, you /are\ coming, right?"  she stuck her tongue out at Cerberus.  "Don't believe in Kero-chan, he's just jealous."  she said to Syaoran.

"JEALOUS!?  WHAT?!"  Cerberus scowled at her.  "Who said I was /jealous?!\  And what's there to be jealous about /him!?\"  it floated in front of Syaoran and glared.

 The boy glared back.

"Kero-chan!!"  Sakura pulled at the creatures tail so it would leave the boy alone.  "Li-kun?"  she smiled at him.  "So are you coming?  If you do, I'll try and keep Kero-chan quiet, so don't worry about him, okay?"

"..Sakura..."  Syaoran blinked in surprise and then nodded slowly in agreement.  "Well, um...fine.  As long as you keep that stuffed /thing\ away from me."  he turned away, crossing his arms.  Tomoyo was the only one who noticed that he had turned a deep shade of red, but she didn't want to embarrass him further by mentioning it.

 "Stuffed /thing!?\"  Cerberus growled.

"KERO-CHAN!!"  Sakura shook the creature and it gave up.

Cerberus sighed.  "Well fine then, now that that's all settled, we'll meet here tonight at nine.  Okay?"
