"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA~!"  a loud voice called out in triumph.

 "Huh?!"  Yusuke glanced behind him.

"I FOUND YOU!!!"  Kuwabara popped up, grinning widely.

"AH!  Who the h*** are you?!"  he fell over.

"THIS IS WHO I AM!"  he pulled out a card and showed it to the other boy.

"Huh!?"  he took the card and read,  "Guardian angel."  he raised his eyebrows.  "What the heck!?"

"THAT'S WHO I AM!"  he beamed.

"So?  What the h*** are you doing here?"

 "I'm here to protect you!"

"YOU!?  Protect me!?"  he began to laugh.  "Yeah, right!  You're crazy!"  he flicked the card into a trash can nearby and continued walking.

"Hey, wait up!  I mean it!  I'm your guardian angel!!!"

 "Get away from me."

 "I AM!!"

"I mean it!"  he moved away, walking quicker.

 "But I'm your guardian angel!!!"

"What ever the h*** you are, you're in my way."  he glared at the newcomer.  "And you know what I do to people in my way?"  he punched Kuwabara, sending the boy into a nearby wall.  "Now stay away from me, you hear?!"  Yusuke walked away.

"AHHH!"  the boy wailed.  "But....but....!!  ...Hey!!  I wouldn't go that way if I were you~!!!  OY!!!  Listen to me!!!"

"Shut up."  he covered his ears.

"LOOK OOOOOUTTT!!"  a girl flew into him.

"AHHHHHHH!!!"  he leapt out of the way in the nick of time.  "What the...?!"

"I'm so sorry!"  she brushed herself off.  "I'm really sorry!  I wasn't paying attention.."  she took a closer look at him.  "..wait..a second.  Aren't you the one who came yesterday and beat up my brother..?"

"H...huh?!"  he jumped away.  "S...sorry!!!"  he ran off.

 Later on............................

"Yusuke!?"  Botan waved at him.  "YUSUKE!?"

"Huh?"  the boy raised his eyebrows.  "Why are you here?"

She smiled slightly.  "I got a job for you."

 "Another mission!?"

"No, a real job."  she pointed at a building nearby.  "There."

"Huh?!"  he blinked at the large building.  "You're not kidding?!"

"No."  she sweatdropped.  "You won't have a big job for a while, though."

"What do I have to do?"

"Um..copy..stuff.  Copy papers."  she said sheepishly.

"..."  he fell over.  "Oh, special."

"It's starting tomorrow at eight, don't be late, okay!?"  she tilted her head.  "You don't know how much trouble I took to help you get the job."

 "What'd you have to do?"

"..."  she shook her head.  "Kurama helped me a bit."  she smiled.  "We'll see you tomorrow."

 "Kurama?!"  Yusuke blinked.  "Who's that?"

 "My fiancee, remember?"

 "Oh yeah."

"..."  she smiled again.  "So, you're coming tomorrow, right?"

"Yeah, see ya."  he grinned, walking away.

 That night.......................

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"  Yusuke yelped, opening the door of his house.  "What the heck happened here!?"

"Hello~."  Kuwabara giggled shrilly.  "Welcome home."

 "How'd you get in here!?"

"I know about the key in that plant."

"What!?"  he glared at the other boy.  "You've been spying on me?"

"No, I'm you're guardian angel, I told you that already!"

"Aw, shut up about that."  he sat down on his bed.  "I'm going to sleep early tonight, 'cause I have work tomorrow, okay?  Leave me alone.  Get out of here."

"I have to tell you something before I leave."

 "What?"

 "January fifth."

 "What about January fifth?"

 "January fifth, you will die."

"What!?"  he widened his eyes.  "You're crazy!  You're a maniac!  Ge...get out of my house!!!!"

"Don't worry, there's a way to continue living."

"HOW!?"  he mumbled,  "(Not like I believe you, anyways...)"

"You have to believe in me, and you have to do something worthwhile."

"..."  he glanced at the calendar besides him.  "...%^&*!!!  What the h*** are you thinking?!  Tomorrow's the fifth!!!!"

 "Mmm-hmm."

"I can't do something worthwhile by tomorrow!  By what time!?"

 "1:30."

 "In the afternoon?!"

 "Yep."

 "Ah, you're crazy!"

"..."  he tilted his head.  "I'll make you a deal."

 "Okay...what is it?"

"There's a hundred dollar bill in that ornament that that one girl gave you."

 "Botan?"

 "Yeah, that's her."

"Why would there be a hundred dollar bill in that!?"  he asked, suspicious.

"Just check.  If there is one, then you have to at least try to believe in me."  he pointed at Yusuke's pocket.  "Only I know that!  (Well, besides Botan...)"

"Botan sent you, then!  If she knows and you know, you're trying to play a joke on me, and it's not funny!"

 "But I'm not jokin-"

The boy pulled out the hundred dollar bill from the ornament.  "Botan..."  he glared at Kuwabara.  "Nah, you just stuck it in the paper, then!"

"But the paper is exactly the same as it was when you put it in!"

 "...how would you know!?"

"I'm your guardian angel!  I know that much!"

"Sure, whatever."  he rolled his eyes.  "I still don't believe you."

 "BUT YOU HAVE TOOOOOOOOO~!!!!"

"Do not.  Leave me alone and get out of my house."  he pushed him out of the door and locked it.

 That morning.......................

"..."  the boy rubbed his eyes and glanced at the alarm clock.  "Mmm...oh, s***!"  he jumped out of the bed, digging through the drawers.  "I'm gonna be late!!  ..What time did work start again...?  Oh yeah, eight!"  he quickly changed out of his pajamas and ran outside.

"Oh, you again!"  Kuwabara chased him down.  "Wait up!"

"Go away!"  he scowled.  "I'm going to work.  Leave me alone."

"But if you don't do something good in your life, you're going to die at one-thirty!"

"I am doing something good!  I'm going to work, okay!  Go away!!!!!"  he rushed away.

"Ah, I wouldn't go that way if I were you~!"  he called out.

 "..."  he glanced up.

"AAAAHHHH!!"  a woman cried out.  "I'M SO SORRY!!!"

"Huh?"  he rubbed his head, scowling at the pan which had fallen on him.  "Be more careful, will you~!?"  he continued walking, after putting the pan down on the steps of the house.  This is all a coincidence.  There's no way in the world that that guy is my angel.  Heck, I don't believe in angels.

"YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME, YET?!"  Kuwabara appeared in front of him.

"AHH!!"  he fell back.  "Stop scaring me, d*** it!"

"Sorry, but I'm trying to show you that I'm your guardian angel!"

"Well, do it some other time!  I'm gonna be late at this rate!"

"That way will be quicker!"  the boy pointed in the other direction.

"What?  But that's the other way, stupid!"

"No, there's a shortcut!  Follow me!"  he hurried off.

"..."  he sighed, starting after the other boy.  "Well, what do I have to lose?"

 At eight.............................

"Yusuke~!?"  Botan scowled.  Where is he?

"Oy, Botan!"  the boy hurried in.  "Am I late?"

"Phew.  You made it just on time."  she sighed in relief.

 "Good."

"No, that's not good!  You had me worried."  she pouted.

 "Sorry, sorry."

"Anyways, let's go~!"  she pulled on his arm and dragged him away into a nearby office.

"..."  he looked around.  "Who's office is this?"

"Mine."  she rolled her eyes.  "And now it's going to be yours, too."

 "Okay, then."

"Here, I'll introduce you to your co-workers."

 "Uh...okay."

She pulled him into the next office and gestured to a brown-haired girl.  "This is Yukimura Keiko-chan.  Keiko-chan, meet the newest employee, Urameshi Yusuke."

"Nice to meet you."  Keiko shook his hand professionally and then turned back to her work.

"..."  Yusuke blinked.  "Uh...nice to meet you too."
