Dialogue Changes

• Alex: "This is called an execution."--This line was completely changed to, "I'm afraid, my friend, this is the end." Uhh, since when is "execution" not allowed? More on this after the next dialogue change...

• Mueller: "We already told you...this is an execution."--The last part of the sentence was changed to "...this is the end for you." OK, so they changed "exectution" again...but later in this very same episode, Alex says it ("...execution of Ex-Alliance...") and so does Zechs ("Execution?"), yet both of those times, it remains unchanged in the cut version! Now, does it really make sense for something to be changed twice and not be changed two other times within the same episode? I don't think so...Argh, this cut version is driving me crazy!

• Mueller, about Noin: "Think she'd do anything for a killer of his own men?"--"Killer" became "destroyer." Ah, they changed Zechs' little nickname again :P

• Federation commander: "Damn you, OZ!"--As usual, "damn" was changed to "blast."

• Federation commander: "OZ villains...go to hell!"--The last part became "...eat this!" I just have to say whoever did this guy's line in the uncut version had really good line delivery...just had to mention that ^_^ After all, since I do a lot of complaining about the dub on this page, I'd better point out the good stuff every once in a while, ne?

• Mueller, to Zechs: "How dare you kill a fellow comrade!"--"Kill" became "attack." Well, he said himself earlier that Zechs was a killer of his own men :P

• Mueller, to Zechs: "Die!"--This was changed to "Eat it!" o_O;; All I can think of is that Weird Al Yankovich song...Just eat it! Eat it!

• Alex: "Damn you, Zechs!"--(This is another one of those episodes where people have a problem with Zechs ^_^;;). Once again, "damn" became "blast."

• Heero, during the "next episode preview" segment: "Heero tries to make up for his mistake of killing Noventa."--"Killing Noventa" became "assassinating them." Them? Who is them? *Thinks of the movie about giant killer ants*

Cuts

• 2 sec.: People flying back and disintegrating in an explosion. As far as I can tell, this is the first cut of this kind, even though it's happened several times before, but this seems to be the episode where they start getting a bit more keen on censorship. I think the requirements for this type of scene to be cut is if they happen more slowly than usual, because there were shots like this in this very same episode which were not cut...

In General

• This is, without a doubt, the most inconsistent episode of the dub. Sure, it comes nowhere near the level of the Sailormoon S and SuperS dubs as far as inconsistency, but still, there are a lot of little things in this episode that just shouldn't have happened. Also, in the original airing of this episode, a new cast list was shown at the end (This list now shows at the end of every episode). Most of the voices are the same, but for some reason, Saffron Henderson was taken off the list, even though she still obviously does Noin (Either that, or they got someone who sounds exactly like her). And, as I said before, this episode apparently marks the beginning of new editing standands, as they start editing things that weren't edited before. Yay :P
