Dialogue Changes
This first one isn't a dialogue change between uncut and cut, but a change between two episodes. In episode 8, Heero has the line, "I screwed up...I totally screwed up!" In the "previous episode" segment of this episode, however, they have him saying, "I failed...I totally failed!" Interesting. This may be a case of different writers for different episodes ignoring each other (A problem which is very apparent in the S season episodes of Sailormoon, especially concerning attack names, but that's not an issue for this page ^_^).
Duo, about Relena: "Well, she's not your average chick, wanting to see the guy trying to kill her."--"Kill" became "destroy." Total agreeance, Duo. That's one crazy bitch.
Noin: "Damn lasers!"--"Damn" became "stupid." That's the first time for that change ^_^
Zechs, to Otto: "Stop now, you'll die!"--This was changed to "No, don't, Otto!" I don't understand this change at all...this is the first (but, unfortunately, not the last) time in the series that "die" is not being used in a threatening way but it gets changed anyway. I mean, if they're going to change lines like this, why didn't they change Zechs' line earlier in the series that went, "Counting on dying, are you?" to one of his soldiers? As the series goes on, things like this are changed very inconsistently (Making it much harder for me to find them :P). So, look forward to more instances in later episodes of me complaining about meaningless dialogue changes (um, hooray? ^_^)
OZ soldier: "Dammit! I can't see a thing."--"Dammit" became "blast it," as expected.
Edits
Zechs coughing up blood: This is when Zechs is testing out the Tallgeese, and apparently it's too much for him to handle. In the cut version, the cough is still there, but the blood is gone.
Otto's blood: This time it's Otto in the Tallgeese, and apparently, it's too much for him to handle, too ^_^ He doesn't cough blood up, though; it's running down his face for awhile, and when he yells, "Long live...King Zechs!" some of it flies off.
Cuts
30 sec.: Next episode preview. Here's another example of something being cut from the uncut version...In both of the versions airing on TV, the preview for episode 10 is cut. I guess it may have been cut because they thought it revealed too much of what happens in the next episode (Episode 10 is a really important episode, after all), but I still don't think it should have been cut, especially not from the so-called "uncut" version.
