I don't know why...but for some reason I was reflecting back to when I was a kid, how I go into comic books. Note that I gave up collecting about 5 years ago; when it started becoming a business istead of just fun and leisure like it's supposed to be. Of course everything here in America becomes a business at one point or another, but I'll get to that some other time. Anyways...

I got into comic books, for the most part because a friend of mine had bought one just for the hell of it. She bought an Archie comic book. Now I thought it was like sissy stuff, and maybe it is. However, we both read that thing over and over again, kinda doing the voice overs for it, I did all the guy parts, like Reggie, Jughead, and Archie - and she did the girl parts like Ms. Grundy, Betty and Veronica. We had a blast, even recording the comic book on tape!

Thenafter I started hating my friend cause she kept on trying to steal my collection of Archie comics, and soon she moved away to Texas. I got into X-Men, The Punisher, Ghost Rider, and ElfQuest to name a few. And then all the Image Comics stuff, which got expensive and lead to the demise of my interest in the comic book business. To this day, I limit myself to collecting, DAWN, Death (Sandman's sister), Johnny the Homicidal Maniac and NNY related stuff.

BUT, that whole last paragraph has nothing to do with what I want to talk about. (I told you sometimes I just can't shut up).

Now after all these years of having not read any Archie comic books, and that I'm OH SO MUCH MORE MATURE - I just wonder......

Has Archie gotten laid by Betty or Veronica yet?! Or maybe Sabrina....or hell, maybe even Ms. Grundy?! Well, it is the nineties, how about by Reggie?! He's a flamboyant jock....maybe he's always had a thing for Archie, and he just hasn't come out yet. And Archie, that boy is clean! Wears that little R emblem on his damn sweater all the time. Maybe Reggie and Archie are meant for each other, but scared of what the people of Riverdale will do. They're scared of Betty and Veronica kicking their asses, and Jughead out of his worry for his close friends may just eat himself to hamburger oblivion!! For that matter, Betty and Veronica are always pulling $#!+e on Archie and Reggie, maybe they too have some sort of deep sexual desire for each other.....makes ya wonder don't it?

Now Don't get me wrong, I'm not against gay/lesbian or "altenative sexual" rights and culture. These are just thoughts that plague me every once in awhile.....just gotta let'em out....
