These days, we come across the news about internet every day.
But there are several problems. One of them is the differences in culture and
custom.
But I think internet will be the best tool of world-wide communication in
the future.
Internet is the only network which has succeeded in linking with the
computers all over the world. Beyond the border, time and space, we can
exchange a lot of information of the world.
In World Wide Web which is called "homepage" in Japan, everyone can express
their opinions, ideas and works.
Moreover, the computer is a multimedia tool that we can get not only
information in letters but also information by music, pictures and movies.
I think we can connect with each other by senses and feelings. For
example, foreign people who don't know our language can understand our
Web-homepage.
In this way, we can deepen mutual understanding. And we will have the
peace on the world.
For example, in Islamic countries, women must not show their face and body
in front of others. But in USA, there is no regulation of pictures and
movies of naked woman.
Another problem is crimes using computer. There are many computer-virus in
the world. It is easy to spread the virus by using internet.
And also we can easily violate one's privacy and say bad things about someone.
Therefore it is important to improve our morals.
It's all right to say that internet is two-way communication, information
service, database of science, advertising media and personal message board.
We are equal before the computer-network. It will create the new human
relationship regardless of age, sex, race or rank. And it will be able to
change the world into a better place.
