Using the ornament as centerpiece to illustrate a very subtle relationship. 
Only two pages, but contain the essential elements of a story: 
Intro - Development - Climax - Conclusion  Let the picture do the talking, watch the pacing. It should flow.

	My rough sketches. Nevermind the funny scribbles. This is where the pacing of each frame is worked out. Note that it's best not to cram too many frames per page.    My pencil to your left. These are traced over the sketches. FIner details are added. Dialog bubbles should stay way clear of the edges  (about one inch in)  Pay attention to the fact that this is a LEFT-side page,  Stay clear of the right edge, where spine goes.  Let the image do the talking.    Image bzelow is the inking. They are basically the same as the pencil. You really should ink right after you penciled.  Because I did the inking one week later, and   it's lost the feeling.

	Balancing the page After each major step, each page must be rebalanced Screentones later on, will upset the balance again. You can see that the first page is way too heavy with black. I've readjusted the top corner, but it is still too heavy.  It's a miner frame, so really shouldn't be too dark.  USAGE OF BLACK     Night scenes The most major frames should be the darkest of the page. That's where the weight of the page is.
