<<Hello !!  This is where I compiled some miscellaneous work done from the past, until I can re-organize them later.>>

<<  So I figure we shall chat a bit. I'm not that big of a talker, and usually can't think of something to say, but  i shall do my best to keep you entertained.

This pic is quite recent. It's a fan art for YSL's Seven Mirrors Story [rough translation here]. After being YSL's faithful fan for eight years, I finallly made contact with the manga professional herself through her website at:  http://www.yslmagic.neto.net [bit of advertisement].

So I got excited and made this drawing for her.

The inking is scanned and reworked in Photoshop. Ya all know the process. What surprised me is that although this pic is colored in Photoshop, it feels like a watercolor. The outline is inked with G-pen & rotring, some of which is distorted in the scanning process.

YSL seemed happy with my little fan art.

This is the original coloration
This is the original coloration, before the background and before I saturated the colors to make it look more animation cel-like.

Actually, I prefer this version better.

It really feels like watercolor here. The highlights and dew-drops were not added yet. All in all, this image undergone about 15 layers, flattened in-between twice.

I find using a wacom tablet only slows the machine down and consumes extra RAM.

Furthermore, I hate the zooming around.

Anyway, it's something i haven't done in a while.

<< These pics are quite a while back, I will show them in later pages, as soon as I can get better scans from the originals.

The mermaid one is a commission. Whatever happened to the other ones, I have no idea.

The red one with the fan is all hand-painted, 11x14 inches gilded. Let me see if I find the larger jpeg.
