Nyarly is my bitch!
I am over-levelled. I will summon satan and lucifer to kick some nyarly ass. It will be the shortest boss fight ever.
I am Taikoubou and Kristi is Outenkun. We are the same person, except she's gothier and lurks in dark corners. One day we will merge and the world will ph33r!
I'll archive next time. Need to find a good pic first and summon the rant-tasticness.

Non-cosplay!
I finished my non-cosplay page! It is located here! I'll also link it at the bottom of this page I guess. BTW, the colors are juriduck's fault. But I find them decently annoying, so they stay. I also am grateful to juriduck for teaching me the mysterious art of tables in html.

Come, Winged Avenger!
Somehow because of Gina I dragged out my Yami no Matsuei manga. I think I was trying to find pictures of the costumes Makura and people did for AX masquerade. I really haven't looked at the manga in over a year. Reasons for this? Fangirls. I randomly picked up Yami no Matsuei late 1999 or early 2000. Sometimes randomly picking up manga is a good thing (like how I first got Basara), sometimes its bad (I think I gave most of those away). Anyways, I found this relatively unknown manga and I rather enjoyed reading it. And then they animated it. And then there were screaming yaoi fangirls. Yami no Matsuei is slashy, but there's a plot there, and believe it or not, nobody's actually screwing each other. Of course the screaming fangirls are all about the slashy and everyone is screwing someone of the same gender. I got disgusted really quick and never looked at the manga again. I'm not the only person that has had this happen, where the fandom has ruined an otherwise enjoyable manga/anime/whatever. Its really kind of sad. Anyways, Gina was here and I was trying to find the characters that Makura and people dressed as, so I dragged out the manga again. Of course having it out, I started reading it again. And I remembered why I liked it. Tsuzuki is a great character; he's fun, but not stupid. The other characters are amusing too, especially in interaction. While the plot is at times serious, for the most part Yami no Matsuei is a really fun thing to read. And I like it. But I hate the fans.
Some random person, apparently in the UK has linked to this page. No clue who they are or why they'd link me (they also link kristi and puu). It's vaguely disturbing.
The picture over on the right there is Hiiragi Hitonari from the manga I'll by Asada Hiroyuki. Its a beautifully drawn manga...about basketball. I generally don't like sports manga (I think Hikaru no Go is one of the stupidest premises ever, but Sai is amusing) but this one works for me. I'd love one day to own Asada-sensei's artbook, and keep hoping he'll write more Renka (another manga he's done). I'll is being animated, but I doubt that the anime can even come close to the same art quality as the manga. I'm hoping the style is at least close.

People always confuse cheerfulness for happiness. They're not the same thing at all.

Things that amuse me
I don't feel like doing an AX report. There's not much to report on. It went relatively well, I got some costumes made, I wore some costumes, end of story.
The following conversation did amuse me though:
nats: *summons cosplay goddess Katie*
Katie: nyar!
Katie: blblblblblrar!
nats: *summonsummonsummon*
Katie: I'm an elder goddess.
nats: cool
nats: good thing I brought souls
Katie: XD
nats: souls that I killed by choking the victims on their own bolts of satin!
nats: wahahahahaha!!!!

The chibi demented Lisa heads are something interesting aren't they?
I told you I'd put something interesting here eventually.
