I can't believe I never saw
The beauty in your eyes
The way that it eluded me

Was I too dense to experience
The awesome view within?
Or was it just stupidity
That was the awful sin?

Brings me peace of mind
And helps to reach a goal
That seemed impossible to find

Seeing you is like a drug

As more than just a friend
But if this never happens,
