In a dark stone-lined room, a man sat with a ventriloquists dummy.
"I'm hungry, I'm hungry," the dummy complained repeatedly in a strange mechanical voice.
"Now, now Dummy," chided the man, "Soon we will have visitors; you'll have to behave yourself."
"I'm hungry," complained the Dummy, "I haven't eaten for a few hundred years."
"Don't worry", said the man, "It's only a short wait now..."
The ventriloquist and his dummy entertained an audience in a large elegant dining room.  The ventriloquist indicated the bottle his dummy was holding.
"It was rumoured," the man told a story, "that the true feelings of everyone in the city were contained in this bottle.  In order to destroy the evil sorcerer, the bottle had to be broken.  But everyone was afraid to break it, and protected the bottle."  The audience was amused by his strange story.
Michiru was also in the audience.
"So," continued the man, "everyone feel under the spell of the evil sorcerer.  Even the most honest people were afraid that the real truth would come out if the bottle were broken..."
The audience chuckled.  Michiru got up from her table and left the room.  The ventriloquist noticed her leave and smiled in a twisted, self-satisfied way.
Michiru went up some steps and peeked into a room.  Haruka was lying in bed, and a maid was applying a cold cloth to her forehead.  "I think your fever's coming down," said the maid encouragingly,  "Your dinner will be brought up by room service."  Haruka opened her eyes,  "I hope you will be bringing the dinner."  Haruka smiled.
"Y-Yes," stammered the maid.  Haruka took her hand.

The maid blushed.
Romantic bubbles appeared in the background.

Michiru stepped in and closed the door loudly.

The startled maid hastily excused herself and scampered out of the room.  Haruka hid under the covers and peeked out sheepishly.  "I didn't expect you back so soon..."
"You seem to be doing much better," commented Michiru, "You wouldn't be so much trouble if you'd just stay quietly in bed."
"Uh yeah," Haruka changed the subject, "What about this evil power you've been sensing?"
Michiru admitted that she didn't know exactly what it was.  "It's different from the Death Busters," she explained, "I don't sense it as strongly so I don't think it's from outside the Solar System."
