Crono looks around, "are we really there..?"
"oh my god.." gasps Lucca
the whole kingdom and the once prosperous Golden Land turned black and full with evil..the sky is purple. far away, a tall and beautiful crystal castle stood, but above the clouds were even darker purplish with lightning and thunder surrounding it..
"i wonder who's the ruler of this world..?" whisper Crono
"i've been waiting for you, Crono." said a man voice.
they all turn around...a strange man wearing a purple cape and the hood is covering his face, stood there.
"..!! that looks like Magus as a prophet!!" said Robo
Magus takes his scythe out, "WELL THAT'S NOT ME!!!! WHO ARE YOU AND WHY ARE YOU MIMIC ME??!!"
"calm down, i'm not your enemy." said the strange man.
".." Magus trusts him, "identify?"
"i will not reveal myself yet...but you will know, when the time is right." said the mysterious man, "just call me "Unknown" for now."
"Unknown?? you mean "X"..?" beeps Robo
"i have been waiting for years for you Crono.." said X (or Unknown)
"...do i know you?" whisper Crono
"you will. first, i need to welcome you all to the beautiful kingdom, the Crystal Age of the Golden Land." said X. Marle looks around, the whole kingdom..is...well..scary..
"how..nice..?" whisper Marle, a big sweat on her head
"this kingdom used to be very beautiful like a true Crystal Age. but something happened.." explains X, "let me tell you the story of the old kingdom..before this Crystal Age exists.. long ago, there were 2 worlds that connects to each other....The Earth, your home, and this Golden Land, the magic kingdom...in this world, a king and his queen rules this kingdom. it went well, of course. but because of the peace and harmony, the evil twin sister of the Entity went mad and decides to ruined it all. she created the Star Ruby, will all the power from the galaxy..making sure that people that hungers for more power will get greedy and selfish, creating wars and deaths all around the kingdom.. the king at first, got control of it. the king send the dangerous ruby away..to the edge of the world...and sealed it away with, only one 'thing' can open it. the evil sister got so angry, she uses the selfish and greediness from people, mixed together with hatred and power, and created the monster of all monsters...the Great Lavos. it is like a god, it is very powerful. no man could destroy it. Lavos destroys the kingdom, nonstop. it was so powerful, the king himself is losing the battle against it, and his wife died try to protect their only son, Cronos. the kingdom quickly collapses. the king, with his last hope, sends his son away to Earth for safety and for his son's future, sending his only key to the Star Ruby with him to Earth. then he weakens Lavos, to a small monster so it will take centuries until it grows back to its terrifying form as an adult. before the king died, he seales the link between Earth and the Golden Land, with the 3 keys which is also sends to Earth for hiding... this story touched the twin good sister of the Entity, that she disobeys her evil sister and helped the young Cronos, the only survivor of the Golden Land. she knows that her sister will get the 'thing', and that the prince is too young to control the power of it, so she breaks it into a Red Stone, and hides it in the 'time before time'. she makes sure that the 'thing' will be ready for the young Cronos by the time he's old enough to battle."
"whoa..what a long story..sad too." whisper Marle
"because of the good sister's deed, her evil sister got very angry that she banished her own sister from the face of all worlds." said X, "this is the future of the Golden Land."
"but...i thought the Golden Land don't have time..it doesn't have a future." said Lucca
"it's true, until later on, the 'thing' came to this world and changed everything. it also contains power to control time and space, and it controls here as long as the 'thing' is in this world."
"so this 'thing' is STILL here, right?" said Frog
"correct. but i couldn't find it.." then X points at one of the strange temples, "now, you're journey is to find the Star Ruby. i'm destined to help you, but i won't fight your battles. you must proof yourself worthy if you want the ruby. that temple is the Temple of Fire, where the 'goddess of fire and knowledge' is worshipped and trapped inside by the evil twin sister. she needs your help, and in return, she'll help you too." said X
Crono stare at the temple, "hmm...why are there temples..?? huh??"
X is gone.
"he weird." said ayla
"guess that's our next stop." sighs Crono.
"but can we trust him? we hardly know who he is??" said Marle.
"we can trust him. somehow..i got this feeling i've been here before..and i knew him.." said crono, then they all head to the Temple of Fire.
