Hey, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Every so often, there will be a festival. None happen in Summer, but you'll be so busy in Summer, you won't have time for a festival anyway. All of the festivals except for the Starlight Night Festival and the First Day festival involve you running to the town. A few have dances, too. These dances help your lover to... love ya! ^^
<bgsound src="hmtown.mid" loop=infinite> 1st Day of Spring: The First Day. Climb to the mountain top to see the beautiful sunrise of the first year. Some people show up, but most likely not your lover, unless it's Eve. I think another girl shows up.. anyway, talk to the midwife for your lucky card, and watch the sunrise... it's SO pretty. Too bad there's no dancing. :( 23rd Day of Spring: Flower Festival. Everyone loves flowers! The town is covered in plants as you enter the Flower Festival. You can buy a Snowseed, which you can plant on the mountain top in Winter for a Power Berry. You can buy perfume (check the girls section to see who likes which perfume), but it's 1,000 GP each! O_O Anyway, this festival does include a dance, so grab your partner and doe-see-doe! 12th Day of Fall: Harvest Festival. My personal favorite. ^^ Everyone but Maria gives you food! And Maria praises you! Anyway, this is the national eating day, where you stuff yourself silly. Also, bring a food for the stew. I advise you bring the Moon Flower from the mountain's peak (from Fall 10th to 12th) to get a Power Berry, but anything's fine. You can even throw in a mole. >:) Anyway, this festival does have a dance. 20th Day of Fall: Egg Festival. This is the major excersize festival that involves a LOT of running. You must run around like a frenzied idiot, looking around town in chests for the egg that the major has. For example, if he holds up a blue egg, run around town and find the blue egg. If you win, you'll get either a charm to prevent disasters or a Power Berry. If you get one, you'll get the other next year. The Livestock Dealer will win if you don't. Since you're tired enough already, there's no dance. I love festivals!! Especially the Flower Festival. Nina likes the Flower Festival. And flowers. Flowers and good. And plants, but let's not get into that. Just flowers. But flowers are plants. Do you like the Flower Festival? 10th Day of Winter: Thanskgiving Day. The male's day off while the girls cook cakes for the ones they love. If your honey gives you a cake, you know you're doing fine. Try to get all 5 girls to give you a cake! But.. no dance. :( 24th Day of Winter: Starlight Night. Final festival of the year, you can go to 5 places; The spa, the public square, the mountain top, the bar, or the church.
