1) The Four Seasons There are a lot of recordings of these four violin concertos. I have a LaserLight Digital recording, which also includes the Concerto for Mandoline, the Oboe Concerto, and the Concerto for Two Trumpets. The Budapest Strings conducted by Karoly Botvay perform the Four Seasons concertos (Concerto No. 1 in E major RV 269, Concerto No. 2 in G minor RV 315, Concerto No. 3 in F major, RV 293, Concerto No. 4 in F minor RV 297 -- Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter respectively) and the Concerto in C major RV 425 for Mandoline, Strings and Basso continuo (Bela Banfalvi on violin, Lajos Mayer on Mandoline). Neues Bachisches Collegium Musicum conducted by Max Pommer performs the Concerto in D minor RV 454 for Oboe, Strings and Basso continuo (Burkhard Glaetzner, oboe) and the Concerto in C major RV 537 for two Trumpets, Strings and Basso Continuo (Ludwig Guttler & Kurt Sandau, trumpets) The Four Seasons violin concertos are perhaps the most frequently performed of Vivaldi's works. This particular CD of mine cost me about $3.00 I think, one of those cheap classical CD's that are worth more than the price because classical music just isn't as popular as rock and country.

2) 6 Violin Concertos On an RCA Victrola label, I Nuovi Virtuosi di Roma performs with Patrice Fontanarosa, Federico Agostini and Pavel Vernikov on violins, Rocco Filippini on the cello. The very nice concertos on this album are La Tempesta di mare (Concerto in E flat, opus 8 no 5 for Violin, Strings and Harpsichord), L'Amoroso (Concerto in E for Violin, Strings and Harpsichord), Concerto in F, F.I, No. 34 for 3 violins, Strings and Harpsichord, Ilpiacere (Concerto in C, opus 8 no. 6 for Violin and Strings), Concerto in D minor opus 3 no. 11 for 2 Violins, Cello, Strings and Harpsichord, and Concerto in A minor F.I, no. 61 for 2 violins, Strings and Harpsichord.

3) Pinchas Zukerman: Vivaldi Concerti On the RCA Victor Red Seal label, Pinchas Zuckerman plays solo violin and conducts the English Chamber Orchestra for seven concerti composed by the 'red priest'. The seven are: Concerto for Violin, Strings and Harpsichord, RV 187 in C Major, Concerto for Violin, Strings and Organ, RV 242 in D Minor, Concerto for Violin, Strings and Harpsichord, RV 209 in D Major, Concerto for Violin, Strings and Organ, RV 364 in B Flat Major, Concerto for Violin, Strings, Harpsichord and Organ, RV 204, in D Major, Concerto for Violin, Strings and Harpsichord, RV 197 in C Minor, and Concerto for Violin, Strings and Organ, RV 195 in C Major. Zuckerman is one of the great violinists of the 20th century.

4) Konzerte auf Original-Instrumenten (Concertos on authentic instruments) On a Vienna Master Series (PILZ Media Group) CD, Alberto Lizzio conducts Musici di San Marco in performances of 8 concertos: Concerto per Archi e Organo in D Major, Rv 124, Concerto per Violincello, Archi e Cembalo in G Major, RV 415, Concerto per due Flauti, Archi e Cembalo in C Major, RV 533, Concerto per due Violini, Archi e Cembalo in B Flat Major, RV 524, Concerto per Mandolino, Archi e Cembalo in C Major, RV 425, Concerto per Violino, Archi e Cembalo (Del Ritico) in E Flat Major, RV 256, Concerto per Archi e Cembalo in C Major, RV 116, and Concerto per due Oboi, Fagotto, due Corni, Violino, Archi e Organo in F Major, RV 571. This was a cheap little CD I picked up I forget where, one of those $2-3.00 deals.

I'll add more as I find enough information to give a decent listing. I listen to more than I have in my cd collection, and by no means own cd's of all my favorite pieces.
