Jandor's Death Song

Upon his death, ghosting in Arkham,
Jandor the Hero of Death
Remembers those adversaries of honor
With whom he battled in life:

There were Shamino, Rhuarc, Tripitaka,
Dvorak, Eekare, Trilvain,
Pustofioll, Barbarus, Beinhorn, Epsylon.
All BattleRagers, all honorable warriors.

He also mentioned Esarvee,
But everyone knows that this Bard
Is not an honorable BattleRager,
Nor his adversary.

He said he "was a jerk in the end."
And this was true, and he wanted it known.
Throughout most of their lives,
Esarvee and Jandor were together,
It is just the latter part
During which they were mostly apart.

But when all was said and done...
They were together at the end.

From what was told to
Esarvee, Undead Master Poet
by Jandor, Hero of Death

[Historic Note: Throughout the latter part of their lives, Esarvee and Jandor were planning to be together for Esarvee's final death. This was not to be. Jandor died his final death of old age first. Esarvee was able to get to him in Arkham, and they relocated to New Thalos after Jandor died of hunger/thirst. (This is ever an anomaly of the world of Carrion Fields, that ghosts can suffer hunger and thirst.) Jandor and Shamino both told Esarvee of Jandor's wish to have her post a death song for him... Jandor listed all his most honored adversaries, and the resulting poem, if such it can be called, appeared. Normally Esarvee would have worked at making rhymes, but Jandor wanted to see it before he died, so there really was no time to work on it. The important thing was, it was posted, and all those who were named were honored.]
