Keyboardist Dizzy Reed has previously been a member of an unsuccessful LA band called The Wild. Anxious for a place to live after beeing evicted from his apartment, he called Axl for advice and unexpectedly found himself in a new job. But this was no ordinary job: How many people, for instance, have to work their shifts in front of a crowd as large as that at the Rock In Rio festival in January 1991. Held at the Maracana Stadium, it found Dizzy playing percussion on the songs he'd yet to fit a keyboard part to.
Now Dizzy is a permanent fixture in the line-up he's also contributed to solo albums by Duff, Gilby Clarke and most recently Slash's Snakepit.
