History:

The Fish is no longer in production and was the first official product manufactured by Reinhold Bogner and Bogner Amplification.  Only 200 Fish were ever manufactured, most (if not all of them) were built by Reinhold, in his garage.  Production started in the early 1990's.  After the first 200 Fish were built, Bogner started focusing on amplifiers (Mojo, Caveman, Ecstasy, etc).

What we know ... so far:

Reinhold Bogner moved from Germany to California in 1989 and started modifying amps on the LA scene.  People soon started looking for this European wonder and names such as Eddie Van Halen or George Lynch started being associated with Bogner.  Growing success led Reinhold to start his own company: Bogner Amplification.
