What is a Bogner Fish?
A single Fish uses eight 12ax7 tubes and is set for either European or North American voltage. The Fish comes stock in a Blue/Till color with white "Chicken-head" knobs. The two (official) Black Fish come with white lettering and Black "Chicken-head" knobs.
On the Front:
A Bogner Fish is a 4 channel all tube guitar pre-amplifier: It has one clean channel ("Country"), a crunch channel ("Strato") and a distortion channels ("Brown") and a high-gain channel ("Shark").
The "Brown" and "Strato" channels share the same 3-band EQ section but have both an independent "gain" control and "Volume" control.
The "Shark" channel has a two band EQ and a gain control knob titled "Balls" and a dark/bright switch.
The "Country" has Clean channel "Country" has all the EQ, plus a country/jazz switch.
Both "Shark" and "Country" channels have their own "volume" control knob. A "Guitar input" is set to the right.
On the back:
An overall master volume and master presence control are present.
A "Guitar Input" is also available on the back as well as two footswitch jacks (Brown/Strato and Shark/Country).
The Fish has two main outputs and a power switch.
