One moment, as only it can be described, time was born, and the world thrust forth from the endless boundaries of the void. And so was the great goddess Mota, goddess of order. Since no record before this has yet to be found, the origins of Mota and the boundaries of her powers are yet to be found. And Mota, needing to establish order, sprung forth the Barren World, where she decided to create her keepers of order. Creatures, though extremely small in scale in size and power to Mota, these beings were enough to make Mota content, as she watched their society evolve, and them as well. She erected a shrine, where the worthy could enter and be blessed by the Goddess herself. These first creatures, called humans, lived in prosperity off of the land for years. They grew strong, and soon strived to explore the land and hunt the various creatures that roamed the realms, which were placed by Mota as a challenge for the humans to overcome. These humans soon learned to use their bodies as powerful weapons against the fearsome monsters that roamed the land. And humans grew prosperously from that time on. Humans are a rare breed indeed. They seem to be the most versatile of the races. Humans excel in most of the skills they try, but show a particular affinity for the martial arts. Humans seem to have been the cause of most racial wars in the past.
