This is a very recommended technique to the practitioner who is
not getting good results with the use of all previous procedures
either because he or she falls asleep during the experiment or
if he or she is too anxious and can not achieve a good level of
physical relaxation.
Every night, before sleeping the practitioner sets up the alarm
clock to ring within two or three hours after he sleeps. This
is not a fixed period of time, it depends on the physiology of
each practitioner.
During Lab researches it has been observed that everyone passes
through an Out of the Body Experience during natural sleep, although
there is no remembering of it or it is very mixed with dreams.
The objective of this technique is to awake the practitioner during
the second or third period of sleep without dreams, probably when
he or she is passing through an OBE so the practitioner is able
to remember all the experience even if is is mixed with dreams.
As soon as the practitioner is awaken he or she must write down
in a sheet of paper everything he or she remembers, then analize
it excluding everything that is absurd or dream related. The result
is a report of an OBE, even with low lucidity.
