After The Centre for Project Management in the University of Limerick said they had 10 computers to donate to the project I realised I needed a van to get all the stuff up to Lurgan in the North of Ireland. I could hardly believe it when Avis gave me the use of a van for nothing for the two days.
On Tuesday morning I picked it up from Santry in Dublin and headed down to Limerick. With help from some of the staff at the centre, we loaded the computers plus a laser printer and a scanner into the van and I headed straight away back to Dublin. The following morning (early again!) Dad and I headed up to Lurgan with the other equipment that had been stored at my house.
We got a quick tour of the facilities in Lurgan. It is a huge warehouse from where 31 containers have already gone out to deliver aid to poor countries of the world. If you look in archives section you will find a video clip of the Container Ministry.
