This package includes everything that you will need to get started with the ZX Spectrum Emulator in a self-installing executable. Included are: the application files; sample games; and the text version of the comp.sys.sinclair Sinclair ZX Spectrum FAQ.

  • 486DX2/66 processor, and
  • Windows 95 with DirectX or Windows NT 4.00.
  • P75 processor,
  • Windows 95 with DirectX 5,
  • 12Mb RAM,
  • sound card & DirectSound® certified driver, and
  • accelerated video card & DirectDraw® certified driver.

Copyright Notice

This ZX Spectrum Emulator distribution package contains memory, tape and disk images of computer programs for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum. These programs are copyrighted software. Therefore, any of these programs may ONLY be used by you if you own a copy of it YOURSELF, in the originally distributed format. In that case, you are IN PRINCIPLE able to LEGALLY transport the code from your ZX Spectrum to your PC.

This package includes application files only. If you are concerned about copyright infringements for 10 year old software, have a large existing collection of ZX Spectrum software already or a slow Internet connection, you may opt to download this self-installing executable instead.
