Here are some notes about the latest zx32 betas that haven't made it to the ReadMe file: [1.03.98.0611] * I've spent a few days on the AY emulation and I believe that it's essentially complete now. I'm still having trouble with very high frequencies but not with anything else. If some effects like noise and pseudo-sampled speech (all pure sampletracks should work OK) are not heard or seem to go on/off randomly, send me a report. [1.03.98.0622] * zx32 will use a true ~27700Hz playback frequency (instead of using ~27700Hz for sampling and 22050Hz for playback) from now on. Hope this won't cause any problems. * This version handles Shell Links (Shortcuts) a bit differently from any other Windows app, and more like file system links. Let me know what you think of it. * Reset [F5] now erases the tape and disk in memory in addition to resetting everything else. If you use [Shift]+[F5] though zx32 will only page in the base ROM and set PC to zero. Is this any good? Should I do it the other way around ([F5] for 'mild' reset, and [Ctrl]+[F5] for a 'hard' one)? Should I reinstate the old way? Any suggestions are welcome.
