You can't run a mine without diligent miners. And here's one of them. Well, maybe not quite. This is my wife Kathalina doing her best to figure out how to use the miner's drill. |
Oddly enough, not many photos taken in the mine turned out, something to do with it being really dark in there I think. :) But this one did. It's a strange one, for sure. This is a shot looking directly overhead in an area of level one. I don't recall what they called this feature, but it has to do with exploratory blasting I suppose. It's also a good shot of the conglomerate rock that makes up this area. |

Kath really likes this shot. We're looking through one of the windows of one of the surface buildings at Delaware Mine. I dont remember which one it is, I think it might be the powerhouse or something. |
